My two year old son sleeps so soundly on this mattress!! I do not know if it is a coincidence or if this is just a great mattress but before we bought this my son was sleeping on a sealy spring mattress that both of my daughters had used as babies and toddlers. With the old mattress he was waking up every night crying and tossing and turning a lot. Ever since we switched to this springfree foam mattress, he has fallen asleep faster and he sleeps through the whole night without waking up. It is also super light weight, which makes it easy to change the sheet.
The Walmart site is correct, but edited in their description. When I received the mattress I learned that it has an infant (latex) and toddler (soybean) side. It is so versatile and excellent in quality. I think this is a great compromise on an organic mattress for half the price.
Even though this mattress doesn't have springs, I was very pleased with how firm it is. However, the dimensions on here are a bit off- the tag states that the finished size is 27 1/4" X 51 5/8". It does have a SNUG fit in my crib (the dimensions are EXACTLY the crib manufacturer's MINIMUM measurements). I love the snug fit, but if I went ANY larger, I'd be in trouble. Being made of mostly a soy foam core (and free of phthalates, antimony, PBDE's and boric acid found in many of the conventional mattresses), this mattress it worth more than you will pay on here and seems like it will hold up (plus it has a lifetime warranty through Kolcraft Enterprises Inc). I did have a bit of trouble figuring out which side was for infants and which is for toddlers, but the side with the label is for toddlers (its stated on the label but in small print) I am VERY pleased with the quality of this mattress.
I love this mattress and also my son. It is nice and firm and very little. This mattress is for babys and todlers .Has 2 side opening on both side so you dont need to worry that this mattress wouldnt get air. A big plus is that this mattres is ECO friendly and made from soy beans and no chemicals. Keep your baby healthy as much you can. Delivery was very fast. I will recoment this mattres for each mom. You dont need to spant $400 for org. mattress, because you get same quality here event better. Organic mattresses are so hard for your baby that he or she wouldnt sleep on it. I love this product.
I am very happy with the purchase of this mattress. I bought an innerspring for my daughter when she was born but for the new baby I really wanted a non-innerspring mattress. Love the fact it is Eco friendly and not made with chemicals. And a great price at Walmart, almost $300 elsewhere. It is so light that changing sheets will be a breeze.
I had trouble finding a mattress that would properly fit my crib. This one has the SNUGGEST Fit. I did measure my crib and do some research. You should always do that. I know that crib matresses are supposed to be standard size, but if you look at all of the mattress on this website, their dimentions are totally different. The mattress has a firmer crib side, and a softer toddler bed side! Its totally light. Its only 4lbs. It has square corners, and I have NO gaps at all in between my mattress and crib :). I would totally recommend this to anyone. But as the previous poster said measure to make sure it'll fit.
I was looking for an all natural bed for my little guy for his respiratory health. But they were all very expensive. Then I found this one and is a great compromise. Its very firm, even the toddler side but he doesn't mind. Appears very high quality and Walmart had the best price around.
I have my baby girls crib all ready for her, Im due in 5 days! I can tell you that, after I got it out of the box, in my living room, I laid it toddler side up (w/ the tag) and watched about 30 minutes of tv laying on it! I was 8.5 months prego, and it didnt hurt my hips! I did think it would be a bit softer on the toddler side, but then again my mattress is super soft pillow top so thats what Im used to. It didnt have any kind of funky smell, seems to be put together really well. However I did look forever for a convertible crib w/ dropside, and it seems like because this mattress is so large, it fits in there great but I will have to use both hand to get my dropside to work cause it doesn't push in too well. but overall great tight fit for my crib. SHEETS ARE VERY VERY TIGHT. and I got nice sheets.... This mattress seems like it will last a long time, great for a convertible crib cause you wont need to buy another mattress for your toddler. Dont forget to get sheet protectors or waterproof mattress pad, because this mattress is not water proof. By the way, I got a great deal on the crib from walmart. Its solid wood w/ a drawer underneath.
after looking at different websites for a baby mattress. i didn't even think to look at walmart.com i was just browsing to see what this website was all about and i saw this particular mattress that was not only GOOD for the enviroment but was also a 2 in 1. its a baby mattress and toddler mattress. although each side is made from different materials which is good bc babies need a firm mattress. and the toddler side is softer. it ALSO has pointy corners that fit right into the crib leaving no space (A PLUS+).O! and my mattress was clean. i read other reviews saying their mattress was dirty but not mine! Im only 33weeks so my baby hasnt actually tried the new mattress out. but i hope she'll like it.. PS- the site to store is awesome.!! best IDEA ever.!! Other stores need to adapt this concept!!
The product was researched on-line for a few weeks before I decided to make the purchase. Although it cost more than what I had planned to pay, it serves a dual purpose with an infant side and a toddler side. So, it is really like two mattresses in one and it should be used for many years. I have also had a good experience with the same brand in the past. With the free shipping of WalMart's Site to Store program, I could not pass it up. The baby should love it when he arrives.
