We purchase the mattress for a toddler bed. It is thick and very comfortable. On a previous review, a parent suggested that a thick mattress be used with the "Dream On Me" Sleigh Bed. She was right. Our daughter loves it! I left the plastic on the mattress and covered it with a mattress pad, until our daughter is fully potty trained.
I'm new to crib mattress'. This one is great. It fits our crib perfectly. It seems firm enough too. I love that it's organic for such a great price. I say go for it and purchase it. You'll be happy.
My baby girl is not here yet but my teenage daughter decided to test out the mattress for her little sister by laying around on it. She absolutely loves it. It's firm but does not feel like a board. I'm sure my little girl will love it when she arrives.
My newborn loves his mattress. The mattress is firm but not hard on his back. I would recommend this product. Also there is no odor with this mattress.
I guess it's really hard to rate a matress for a newborn! Can't really try it out myself! But very affordable. There were some wear and tear damages to the product when we picked it up at site to store.
