This was a gift for my 11 year old grandson, who opened it up at the party, put the batteries in and began shooting it!! All the kids at the party loved it!
I bought this for a Christmas Gift for both my boys and was exactly as expected..most the time you buy these Nerf guns and dont feel like they do what you expected. This one Is Awesome..the Darts Glow BRIGHT when they are shot. Only Down Fall is it takes so many Batteries BUT It is worth the Coolness of the gun itself and the way the Darts Glow!! LOVE THIS
Bought 3 of these for my fun loving family. Ages include, a 4 year old boy, a 12 year old girl, and a 22 year old manchild. These fire great, since they do shoot softer than some nerf guns they are great for family fun. The glow in the dark feature is very cool and pretty that entertains the younger 2. We love the rapid fire and that they dont make everyone cry when hit. Only tip we can give is the 4 yr old bends the darts and it makes them jam the gun once in awhile, but we have him trained to do it correctly. It wasnt a major thing. BUT the guns are awesome. DUCK!
I've never had problems with Nerf guns til this one. It's shots are extremely under powered, weak glow on the darts, takes more batteries, and constantly jams. The single shot N-Strike Elites we got our younger kids delivered 100% more bang for our buck this Christmas (everything a kid imagines a Nerf gun will be and more), sadly after struggling with this model all morning our son wants to exchange the Rayven for the lower end single shot model that works as advertised.
