QUALITY & FUNCTIONALITY: When you handle this tote you can tell that it is built with strong, quality materials. The zippers glide without any difficulty. The interior is cushioned and lined with the same material as the heat resistant EasyPress mat. You can be confident in knowing that are not purchasing just any tote, but one that is specifically designed for this heat press. The velcro and straps feel secure and sturdy. And the tote's handle is reinforced with either leather or pleather (not sure which), which gives it a comfortable grip. The base, press, and cord fit perfectly inside the tote and the mat slides nicely into the back pocket of the tote, making it easier to transport the necessary accessories. STYLISH: I am really loving the sophisticated look of the gray exterior with the red accents. I love how the tote's red accents beautifully match the raspberry red EasyPress! After getting the raspberry EasyPress 9x9, I decided to get the other two EasyPress sizes in raspberry also so that they would match these stylish totes!
It's a Cricut Product - always Good
Absolute must have. Very light weight. Well insulated And comfortable strap for holding on hand or shoulder. Good amount of storage space in back pocket. Bag also fits cooling tray. Provides great protection from the elements and dust. Convent for on the fly projects.
I apparently ordered the first generation of the Easy Press back in September. I was delighted to see that they came out with the matching totes (as I also bought the rolling totes for the Cricut). But was saddened that my Easy Press would not fit in the tote. Now I have to return the tote and pay for return shipping, and also buy a new tote (larger size). Please read the descriptions... verify if you have the original version (I think the handle is the blue color) and if you did... make sure you buy the larger 10x12 Version. Otherwise the tote looks sturdy !
I returned this item. The description led me to believe that my easy press would fit but it was too small.
I really liked the quality of the carrier but I wish it had a place for the base of the Easy Press. I currently have is shoved into the outside pocket but I know that isn't what that was made for. I just want to keep all my press stuff together.
I wish I would have read the reviews earlier. I too purchased a 9x9 tote to use for my Original Blue Easy Press. The machine fits fine but not the base. If you have the Raspberry Easy Press, the machine and base will fit fine. I believe the case is really recommended for use with the Raspberry press, since the base has been redesigned and is smaller than the original version. The case itself is nice and sturdy. I am leaving a 3 star review only because I wish that Cricut would have designed a case for all those customers who own the original Easy Press. :-(
Bought new large Easy Press and wanted a bag for it and my original Easy Press Aqua. Should have read the Reviews because the 9\"x9\" bag will not hold the original Easy Press and its holder. Really bummed out that the bag is too small. Too expensive to ship back and exchange. I wonder how many Cricut customers have been disappointed too. The big bag is great quality but the design for the new 9\"x9\" bag is a dud because it won't fit the original Easy Press too. Also why release the original EasyPress and then come out with the three newer models so quickly. I made the same mistake buying my Circuit Explore Air 2 just a few months before Cricut released the CricutMaker. They don't let us know about what new products are soon to be released, so we can make better buying decisions.
I purchased 2 of the 9 x9 original easy press aqua color last year planning to travel with one, just purchase the 9x9 tote bag to use for this weekend and the base does not fit into the tote bag OMG, really, really disappointed. Cricut knew that they sold tons of the 9x9 original easy press to their customers so they should have made the tote bag wide enough to fit base. What's good about having the tote bag only to carry the easy press without the base.
I called before placing an order to be sure I was ordering the correct product and I was assured the 9x9 tote would fit my 9x9 easy press and base. Well guess what I received it today and the base does not fit in the bag, why did they tell me it would if it doesn't. It would have been real simple for them to tell me to order the next size up instead of sending me something too small. Also I ordered two different chipboards and they were both damaged, so frustrated!!!
