[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Duck® Brand Aluminum Door Bottom Seal. I purchased to resolve the issue of a gap on bottom of door between garage & house. Was easy to install, with appropriate tools. The flexible strip section made for tight seal & worked to keep out air & bugs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This door bottom seal works great. It's nice that you can cut it to the size you want. Our door to the garage has a gap so sometimes bugs can crawl through. This seal works great and we were able to drill the hole easily and install.

I knew it wasn't a tight seal since I could see a gap under it and there would be little small bugs entering. My home is about 40 years old. I have been intending to get a door bottom strip, but budget says "No". When I saw this, I knew it was just what I needed. I am going to put this on later today.

It comes with precut holes for each screw. I noticed that the rubbery strip on the bottom seals rain water from coming in under the storm door. I especially like that my storm door is now sealed against the floor, thanks to this rubbery strip on the aluminum door bottom. Definitely has made a difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could easily see daylight coming from around the bottom of my entry door, so I have always known that it was not making a tight seal with the threshold. I have used weather stripping in the past but it was complicated to cut and stick, it never fully worked, and it quickly lost adhesive with opening and closing of the door and soon lost its effectiveness. So I was excited to try this Duck Aluminum Door Bottom. Although some measuring, cutting, and tools were required, installation was relatively quick and simple. I grabbed my hacksaw, drill with bit, screwdriver, and black marker and made quick work of it. I first had to measure the seal against the closed door to gauge the appropriate size for my needs, cut off the excessive with a hacksaw, and then just screwed it into place. It took only about 10 minutes from start to finish to complete the job. When measured correctly, it nicely seals the gap between the door bottom and door frame threshold. I am now confident I am more protected from outside heat, cold, wind, water, insects, and even some noise. What I particularly like is that it is screwed on rather than stuck with adhesive, so it is sure to stay and place and last for hundreds of door openings and closings. I also love the "sweeping" sound it makes upon opening and closing the door which further reassures me it is making a good seal.

Not ideal especially if you plan to change your mind later as it leaves a mark on the door. Other than that, seals up the storage between the door and the floor pretty good and did the job.
