Lightweight but heavy enough to maintain pressure on the pedals without the bike moving and tilting. Great for two hour workouts.
Mother in law had a cheaper version that broke in days. I bought this XL and it's awesome!! Very sturdy, does not slide around. I have it set up at my work desk, clip my Fitbit on my pants leg and cycle while on conference calls....great exercise and get my steps in too.
My parents bought me this cycle for my birthday because I wanted an exercise bike that did not cost an arm and a leg. It is very sturdy and easy to use. I recommend using this cycle on a non skid mat or on a carpeted floor while sitting in a sturdy chair. This cycle gives a full workout for either upper body (on the table) or your lower body while cycling.
I use it for long days working at a desk for some additional activity and it works great so far. It comes with a timer, but I would have preferred it showed distance.
It is heavy and sturdy with all metal parts. The rubber feet do a good job of keeping it in place on the floor in general, but on my wood floors it does slip. I have to push it up against another support to keep it in place. Luckily my desk is against a wall so that isn't a problem. I bought it to use at my desk, and I cannot use it with my legs under the desk because my knees hit. But it is fine if I push my chair back so my knees have plenty of room. So, if you intend to use it at a desk, know that you cannot cycle while you are working - you have to push back and use it during breaks or on phone calls, or other times you don't have to be sitting right up at your desk. All in all, it helps me move more than I used to and that can only be good.
Machine skids on my desktop. Stamina's machine is good for beginners. Will not do much for the muscles at advanced levels. Wish there was a better way to adjust the level of intensity. Stamina didn't really give its best effort. With a little more improvement, Stamina could have made it an excellent product for upper body fitness. Stamina's reputation doesn't reflect in this product. I expect Stamina's quality in all its products.
This machine does an OK job. It is not the best built by any means but is fine for everyday little work outs. My mother in law had back surgery a few years ago and the doc recommended something like this machine to keep up her leg strength. You can also use it for your arms if you set it up on a table or something like that. It has worked fine for my mother in law but she is not training for a marathon. If you are looking for a hard workout machine this is not it. This one is good for light to medium work outs and is portable.
Easy to put together. came with a slight wobble to the legs. Good for the price paid. We will see how long it last.
This is my second stride cycle first one pedal crank area broke off but they replaced the middle area with the pedal crank that was nice .but a while later the pedal on that broke also called to see if they would replace it but was told couldn't replace this one with out receipt. So I bought a new one and spent the extra money for a 2 year warranty glad I did because Ive had it a little while now and its starting to make grinding noise as you pedal it so It will be a matter of time I will be calling you using the 2 year warranty I purchased It not to durable .
This is simple and quick to assemble which means one can get to using it right away. However, the footpads spin on the posts meaning the device slips away from you making continuous pedaling problematic as the gripping edge makes no contact with the floor. The t-handle knob has a plastic handle that broke away from the screw the first time I added tension to the device. I now cannot add or decrease tension to the device masking increasing difficulty in my use impossible. Attempts to have this rectified by the manufacturer have resulted to getting zero response. The lesson here? You pay for what you get.
