This umbrella is perfect, it's large enough to keep the sun off but not so big that it takes up too much space. Surely needed for small patios!!
Seems to work just fine. Does a great job keeping the sun off of us when we want to just hang out by the pool!
The umbrella has provided the much needed shade on my deck. It has a large area of coverage, the crank makes it easy to raise and lower the umbrella, and the tilt feature is great to angle the sun away from our seating area. The fabric stays clean and repels water. This umbrella has provided all of the features I desired in an umbrella. I highly recommend it.
Good Product and meets expectations. Special Note: If you use this umbrella with the Mika Ridge 5 piece dining set, you don't need to purchase a separate umbrella stand. The umbrella fits right into the table base.
Quality appeared to be good. Seemed to block sun well, however ours arrived damaged. One of the prongs, (think thats what they are called) was badly bent, with chipped off & broken, so we had no choice but to return it. In the mean time we found another one at Sams, but if it had not been broken we would have kept it.
The umbrella was difficult to find. I started looking around spring time last year...thank goodness Wal-mart decided to sell them again. I scooped mine up as soon as I seen them available. Since I have gotten it my patio set looks complete. I plan on purchasing coordinating pieces to this set to finish out my deck. I am very happy with it. I do take my umbrella down after every use because I have high winds at my house and I don't want it to get tore up since it took so long to get it. It is a great size and keeps the sun out very nicely...definately recommend to others!!
This umbrella seems fabulous at first. By the 2nd summer I owned this, the joint where the tilt feature exists became worn and the umbrella started to list to one side or the other. Raising and lowering the umbrella became difficult because of this. Upon inspection, I found that interior pieces of the push-button tilt area had broken. This area appears to be plastic, not metal. I live in a periodically windy area. It is unrealistic to take the umbrella off the pole every time the wind picks up. I wish I had bought an umbrella without this tilt feature.
We Sent the umbrella back. It was very wobbly and did not provide enough shade. It moved around when the wind blew. We purchased a larger free standing umbrella at Sams for less money. We are much happier with our new purchase. Love the table and chairs!
The umbrella is too light weight with the wind blowing the umbrella tends to fall off along with the base & the table. Secondly the meatal part of tha umbrella is too thin I am scared whether it is going to ripp off.Not recommended to place with breezy condition. Please note that my previous umbrella was better.
Don't bother buying this umbrella! This umbrella only made it through 1 summer :( The fabric is so badly damaged from the sun that it is frayed and beginning to rip. The tilt feature is cheaply made with plastic parts which broke after only a few uses. The cord attached to the crank handle that actually opens and closes the umbrella became twisted/knotted inside and we can no longer open it! Very disappointed with the poor quality of this item! Also - beware of fabric on chairs if you have the entire set - same problem. Badly worn and frayed :(
