murdock mysteries is one of favor tv shows.
An excellent show which needs more U.S. exposure and airing of current episodes including season 6 if available
The Murdoch Mysteries series is outstanding from every viewpoint: Stories, characters, plots, acting, period costumes, cinematography. The combination of detection with humor and romance, plus a fascinating glimpse of late 19th/early 20th century Canadian history especially technology/science makes this one of the rare adult detective series. Wish it had been widely available on American television channels.
Really enjoying this series. Highly recommend this to lovers of good mystery, especially history buffs.
It seemed like an age before it was released but well worth it. We have seen all the series and enjoyed them all! Did miss Murdoch going to crime scenes on his bicycle. Didn't happen as frequently. I enjoy how significant occurences in history are incorporated into the plots. I'm glad that the series will continue beyond the original 5 years. AND, it's about time that Murdoch and Julia got together!
Great mystery series. Very Creatively done.
My wife and I are great Murdoch fans and I was able to surprise her with a gift of Season 5 this Christmas. We like the more genteel feel and humor of these mysteries. Can't wait for Season 6 to be ready for DVD!
