This works so much better than the ASTV one. I wanted something thats easy to put up and take down when not in use. The tension rod is the perfect solution. Even tho its black, i can see right thru it from inside the house. Iâm getting a second one to put on the garage door to get more air flow
just what I wanted for my new place i don't like the ones that split in the middle so easy to hang up
I like this screen door. It is easy to put up and take down. Just roll it up and store it. It is easy for my dogs to come and go and doesn't let insects in my home.
I LOVE IT, should have thought of buying something like that years ago. I mainly bought it because I have a cat, she loves going in and out the door, so I bought it, hung it, fastened it but for the lower right corner and ba bam, she comes in and out as she wishes and I do not have to open the door for a million time a day ! A real screen door is very expensive ( to me who just lives on social security ) and I should have had to destroy the lower right corner, this choice was affordable and turned to be the right choice . I do not own a cell phone, I really wish I could send you a picture of the new scene here.
Love this. Easiest install ever. Love that I can move it from door to door in seconds.
Was surprised to see my idea of the tension rod slide screen was already a reality! The price was good too. Serves the purpose and Looks good at my front door. Have had several compliments.
I had purchased this screen before from a large hardware retailer , who now does not carry it , what a shame , as I believe this one to be the best one around . It hangs from a tension bar and you don't have to glue strip it to your door frame if you don't want to as it hangs well enough without sticking it to the door frame. It is sturdy enough to last about a year or more with continual use. Usually what causes mine to go is the strong afternoon sun . If you have a nice decorative front door and don't want to mess up the nice wood frame with sticky velcro , this is the screen for you . It's very easy to put up and heavier than the other brands of screening like it. Also , if you have a metal door this one will NOT stick to it like the ones that have magnets in the center . I highly recommend this screen and I hope that Walmart is smart enough to keep this type/brand as it is far superior to it's competition.
I like the fact that is is a solid piece of screen. And not split. Also I like the fact that it has a rod, like a curtain, to instal it. Works great for the dogs to go in and out. But, it doesn't automatically close. Not heavy on the bottom. And the velcro is worthless. Plus you only get a couple tiny pieces. THe screen is of a poor quality too. Its already starting to rip only after a couple weeks of use. I only gave it 2 stars because it kinda helps keep out some bugs. And good for the dogs to be able to go out when they want. Less pee on my floor to mop.
I purchased a similar as seen on TV screen that didn't work so I tried this one, only to find that it didn't work either. Each side of the curtain at the top tears from the extension rod because it is one-piece and you have to enter in from the sides and it pulls at the material no matter how careful you are going in and out. It is a good idea, just not made durable.
When I went to complete the 2nd step, putting the rod through the mess curtain, I find that there is no space for the rod to slide though. The stip of fabric the rod is supposed to go through has been sowed up, and rather thoroughly I might add. A useless buy as it never even made it to my door.
