It was so easy to install and works exactly as I expected. My 1-yr old grandson can easily go in and out now to the patio giving him more outside play.
It works really great! Had the main door open all day long and not one single bug or insect got in. It holds its shape perfectly and hangs completely straight and flat. You can see through it as clearly as a window. I did not think it would work that well. I was completely s urprised and pleased.
In the back of our house we have a 36" doorway leading down the basement stairs to our cellar. Because of the way it's designed, it quite impossible to install a regular screen door. I really wanted to be able to allow fresh air in during good weather, without pesky bugs getting in. After reading the reviews of this Instant Screen Door, I decided to order it and give it a try. It works great! It's well made and the magnets click together nicely. Of course we're not going and out that way very much, but it looks like it will hold up well. Very happy with purchase.
I loved the 1st screen so much I had to purchase a 2nd one. This is actually a screen material not a mesh. It attaches to the top with a spring loaded rod not nails or magnets. My door frame is metal so the other product will not work. The magnet are strong. My cats go in and out all day long and the screen closes right back to where is should and it has never fallen down. Well worth the extra $ spent.
Definitely works better than not having your door protected from bugs at all. I give it four stars simply because the velcro on the ends aren't the best quality. You definitely have to be careful with the screen not to rough. Or the velcro will start detaching from the door. As far as people leaving reviews on the rod holding it up, I haven't had any problems with that thus far. It holds up for my two dogs and two kids going in and out just fine. It's only when we pull to hard the velcro will come undone from the door. So if your thinking about getting it, get it just keep in mind you can't be rough on it. Treat it nice and it will work just fine for the use of eliminating the bugs. Have had product for maybe 2/ wks. Oh and SD for the velcro issue I'm thinking of purchasing extra velcro to see if it will help maintaining it to the door.
We added a few more closures, but the magnets worked well.
I wish the screen had been a little heavier, but was a perfect fit and easy to install.
My mother in law just recently moved into a new, smaller apartment. We are unable to put up a screen door so we stumbled upon this product. The instructions were on the back of the packaging and it did take about 30 minutes to install it. But it works great! The size is prefect, easy to use, she loves it too. Considering getting one for us! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Every time you use it comes out and you have to put beck.
does not come close to the screen advertised on tv only 1 magnt in the middle and it does not work. do not buy this junk.
