2020 is the year that introduced so many seldom/never words to my daily vocabulary---words like Pandemic and CoVid. IThe vigilant battle to keep my family safe sent beyond disinfectant sprays and masks. Fortunately, I came across Verilux and after researching which included taling to health experts, I purchased two wands. The pandemic is raging here for its second wave, but at least my family has some defense in trying to stay sanitized and safe.
It's very easy to use. A friend had an unfortunate event happen in her car, a cat had sprayed in her new car. She cleaned the interior and cleaned it and the smell still lingered. I used my wand on the entire interior of that car and I did it two three times and the smell is gone. Thank you..... So, I got my money's worth so far.
Very convenient and easy to use, especially while traveling. Size is perfect to fit in a backpack or purse. Great, eco-friendly way to sanitize and brings me peace of mind.
This was a super helpful gift to my mom. I love all my Verilux products like my beloved happy light.
Love this wand. Nice size (some seem to be very small). Simple to operate. Had purchased another wand before this one; it was bigger and too complicated to operate. To operate this wand, you simply press on the button until it beeps ( takes seconds) and same thing to turn it off again. To protect your eyes, it automatically turns off if you turn it up to face . Great quality. I use it on my remotes and also paper.
Very portable. I keep it in my purse and take it along.
This 'sanitizing wand' (Happy Lux (S.A.D) light and air purifier) goes by my daughter's hard-to-watch growing collection of Covid fears helpers. (Near the nasty chemical sanitzer that I hope she will trade in for water/soap and some real movement outside!) She is nearly tied to her bed with fears and way too much un-inspiring busy work thanks to Covid fears. This pandemic, along with migrations to 'distance learning' (aka. online) public school after 6 years of intentional un/home-schooling has also been a deep driver for the transition anxieties. Even if placebo for her, this wand hopes to give her the sense of a tool to eradicated germs on her phone, etc. Worth the $!
Can't say that I know if it is working. This is one of those items that you have to take on faith, because I have no way of proving or disproving that it works. Since I contracted Covid-19 and was quarantined for 10 days, I can't give this wand a glowing review.
They battery keeps running out quickly. It would be great if there is an USB charger...
probably works but why would a reasonably designed item require you to take out the batteries between use? I should have returned it but I changed residences in the return time frame and forgot about it. So, by accident I did leave it unused for a good while and, as predicted, the batteries needed to be replaced. That's just dumb. I am usually so pleased with Verilux products. I know they will be smart enough to redesign this product. I wish I didn't buy the the first version. Now I'm stuck.
