I received the ordered swing set and have since put it together. It did go together fairly easily if once takes the instructions throughly. However, there was one small giltch--one support leg was not drilled with the necessary holes--a plan leg without any holes. It was not too had to template it to other leg and drill the required holes (thin metal). Otherwise nice play set.
I have wanted to get my kids (21 months and 5 y/o) a swingset for a few months and Christmas just seemed the perfect occasion. I did my research and I agree with the other ratings that were left. GREAT PRODUCT!!! I never had one but I wanted one for my kids. THEY LOVE IT!!! My hubby and I (mainly him) put it up Christmas eve in about 3 hrs. The directions weren't very helpful, we just went by the pix. There was plenty of nuts and bolts, all the pre-drilled holes matched up perfectly on the frame and all the attachments went on easily except for the 4 passenger yard swing. The 2 metal pieces that went over the top of the frame had to be pinched together with large pliars in order to be screwed together but it's very secure! The 2 thin metal bars that go under the yard swing was very hard to cap in place. The slide is kind of shaky but all in all this swingset was a perfect idea!!! I highly reccomend it for the price and for years of entertainment!
we ordered this for our grand children at christmas. it looks just like the picture. it is really a large swing set .it took my husband and son and father, about two and half hours to put it together. they said it was not hard at all. i just can't get over how big the set is, and the grand children who are almost 3 loved it . what a great buy.
We were delighted with the purchase of this set. It arrived quickly and in good shape. It was very easy to assemble. The directions aren't the best but if you read carefully it's not a problem. We had to backtrack once on the glider swing and we had to take the side bar off to hook up the ladder and then reattach it to the legs. Other than that very easy. The shipping is high but still a good purchase. My grandchildren have been on it every single day that they can get outside. I love the fact that it is American made also.
looks great,my little girl loves it...the directions were vauge,and some of the plastic parts a little flimsier than expected,but for the price exceptable minus the shipping..
my two year old granddaughter has a blast with this swing set, small price to pay for a whole lot of fun
The instructions for set up left alot to be desired. The children love to play on the swing set and especially love the "copter" and the "wave slide" Other than poor instructions, this was a great investment.
The communication was great as far as delivery goes. I was a little upset that this couldn't be shipped to a store in my area because the shipping was almost as much as the swing set. My husband & father put this together in about 3 hours. One screw was missing but we have since replaced it. My 2 yr old received this as a b-day gift & loves every bit of it! And so do his friends. He does best with the slide, lawn swing & the twisty thing on the end (because I don't remember what it's called). Anyway, definitely recommend this product to other possible buyers.
The instructions could be better. It took all day to assemble because the instruction are not so clear. After it was finished it was nice, but if not anchored it wobbles a lot. The seats are also slippery so i put the tub stickers that prevent slipping on the seats so they don't slip off. Shipping was as much as the swing, but the swing self itself was a good value.
The hardware was very difficult to use the soft Flat head bolts and the lock nuts were extremly difficult I opped to go to the hardware store and bought hex head bolts to make the unit tight
