The RD12VP Starter Pack includes the RD12 6-string acoustic guitar; a great sounding dreadnought with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, classic tone woods that generate a warm and well-balanced tone. The pack also includes everything else you need to get started and keep going, such as an Alvarez padded gig bag, electronic tuner, strap, picks, string winder and a spare set of strings. Alvarez have made the neck profile on Regent Series a little finer so they're easier to play and every model is constructed using a dovetail neck joint that optimizes the transfer of energy between the neck and body. All Regent Series instruments are fitted with the Alvarez bi-level bridge to carry more vibration to the top, which improves tone and resonance, and the PPS saddle and nut help to improve response and sustain. This instrument has been finished using an electrostatic painting process for a more even finish that uses less paint in its application. This allows the guitar to sing a little more and it also looks fantastic. Premium die cast tuners deliver tuning stability.
