Havnt gave it to my daughter yet ought as a xmas gift but im sure she is going to love it
We bought this for our daughter before she was born. We loved the monkey look and the fact that it has 5 different ways of soothing your baby. We love using the nightlight in the middle of the night when she cries on and off to make sure she is ok. We also love that it turns itself off on its on after 15 min of being on. That lets us get done and make sure she is ok without turning on a bright light and waking her. I would def recommend this to a friend. It s worth the money and the baby will love it.

I had a different soother for my 18 month old which died so I took a chance buying this one and my daughter loves it. I like all the different modes. Especially love how you can have music playing without the light since my daughter prefers the dark. I used to have to hide our old one under the blanket. The music is very soothing and jazzy and the nature sounds are great!
I ordered this online and when i got it I though it was perfect. The monkey is absolutely adorable first off. The light is nice and dim for a sleeping baby. I was searching for something like this everywhere and when I found it, Walmart had the very best price. And the store shipping was free which is awesome. The sounds play a nice while, 15 minutes I believe and then it automatically shuts off to preserve batteries! The one thing that was not good about this item, and that caused me to stop using it is that the "lullaby" is the same tune over and over and over. No repetition. It repeats this short musical melody for a few seconds and then starts again. My daughter is 21 months old and since she was born, has gone to sleep with the V-tech "violet dog lullaby toy" that is the same concept; a small stuffed dog that plays nature sounds and lights up and plays lullabies for both 15 o& 20 minutes. She pushed the buttons so many times in the past two years though that violet quit working. She wouldn't sleep at night and kept asking for her "violet baby". I was looking forward to this monkey taking its place. The first night I put her to sleep with it I didn't realize the annoying repetition, but my daughter did! And she called me in the room and tossed the monkey at me and said no no no!! I had a hard time finding the same violet, but eventually stopped using this monkey. All in all it is a good soother if you have a younger baby that will fall asleep without noticing!! I still think it is precious and she now uses it as a plain day time toy. Overall, this is a cute product and does what it says...it just didn't clarify on the lullaby part. If you want something a million times better though, for about $4 dollars more I would go for the V-tech product instead!

I purchased this as a baby shower gift, so I can't contest to the durability but it's bright and not too loud. Really cute.
Very cute, but I don't like the lullaby or nature sound very much. Sound is kind of rough. The switch requires you to go through all the settings to get to what you want every time.
Looks really cute and it is cute, however, it does not play relaxing music according to my daughter. Plays something almost jazzy. Not relaxing when you to get the baby to sleep.
