The lights are pretty and worked great once I fixed them. The battery was dead, dead, dead and wouldn't take a charge. I had to open the solar portion to get to the battery. I discovered the positive contact was not, well, making contact. I had to bend the contact to make the lights work. I went ahead and put a Duracell battery in it (also Ni-Mh but way higher capacity than the factory generic) so I'm not sure if the battery is bad or just went dead and wouldn't charge because of the contact. These are made in China so I wasn't shocked that I had to modify them.
1 doesn't work at all and the other has to be shaken every day to work even though it is never moved .Never will buy anything from you again
