this is a great product for travel or go camping and like to visit people. I liked to have my baby sleep in the basket on the bed next to me.
I feared the basket would be a bit too large for my everyday - here and there - use, but it was perfect. Excellent quality, quick in-store delivery, great across the board. :)
Practical & gorgeous.
I haven't had a chance to use this yet, as the baby isn't due for a couple of months, but it looks nice enough. I wish the padding around the edges was more snug to the basket. I like that it's reversable, though. :)
Perfect size and seems to me that it is made fairly well. There are a few flaws but that is okay for a woven item. I am using As a gift basket for a baby shower. I hope she likes it!!!
I love Moses baskets, and this one is very nice (my last one was trashed by my sweet daughters using it for a doll crib). The baby can sleep on the floor next to me, and I don't have to worry about her safety; when it's time to transition to a crib, I put the entire basket in the crib for a week. I wasn't thrilled with the liner, but I took it out and just used the mattress. Doesn't look as cute, but is much more functional and safe for the baby. Once the baby is in a crib, I'll let my daughters use the liner and it will look cute for their dolls!
The quality of this basket is not the best, but it works. My baby sleeps well in it, and I love that I can take it around the house. I don't really like the little sheet that comes with it, but the only part of my baby that touches the sheet is his head. Unfortunately, I don't think this basket will last too much longer for us because our little guy is growing fast, but I feel like we will get our money out of it. I think this is a good alternative to an expensive bassinet.
There is no place for the liner to actually attach to the basket, so it doesn't fit very well. Also the straw basket has no support and is not smooth at all. But, if you're looking for something relatively cheap to keep baby in at night for a few weeks, this should work.
Thank goodness I didn't order this for a real human baby! It is very flimsy, thin & you can actually see through the sheet. STOP if you are ordering this for a real baby. Your little one could easily roll over the edge & fall, the sides collapse. Very little cushioning in the bottom. It is also a suffocation hazard. For myself, it is fine - it's for a doll.
