This co Sleeper is amazing. I will never go back to using a bassenette.
I was a first time nursing mom and the co-sleeper helped a lot. I did not have to get out of bed to check on baby or to nurse. My baby has begun to sit up now so we will have to move her to the crib and not use the co-sleeper any more but it definatley came in handy. I would recommend this product to anyone.
I knew right when I got pregnant that I was going to breast feed and since babies wake up all through out the night when they are young a co-sleeper was on my wish list and was a MUST HAVE. I got this and have yet to give birth to my son but it was easy to figure out and the sheets are cheap to buy on the side and it comes with one sheet and the compartment down below the basinette part is going to prove to be a great asset to me. I would highly recommend this product no matter if you are a first time mother or 20th time mother!
Great bassinet for my first little boy! Small, so perfect for tight spaces. We have a platform bed, so unlike most folks, the mini co-sleeper is too TALL for our bed, but I don't mind. Having easy access to him is what matters most. I can still easily reach in and comfort him or give him back his paci or pull him out to cuddle in the morning. Wonderful for travel as it is compact and comes in its own carrying case. Waterproof mattress pads and sheets are both expensive and hard to find. Boo.
Baby isn't due to arrive for another couple of weeks, so I have not used my Co-Sleeper yet. But set up was simple, It's perfect for right next to the bed, takes up very little space and the storage underneath is very convenient.
I love the co-sleeper. I tried sleeping with my son but I just wasn't comfortable. It is great having him at arms reach, in the middle of the night when he needs his binkie, I don't have to get out of bed - I just reach over. I feel like I get so much more sleep by having him close. There are complaints that it can be hard to get in and out of bed so after delivery or c-section which is true, but if the co-sleeper wasn't there it would still be hard. If it is a huge problem, put the co-sleeper on Daddy's side of the bed for the first couple weeks until you heal.
I found this product difficult to set up and fold up again. The mattress is bumpy where the folds in the board are and you need to purchase a seprate mattriss for comfort. I have seen better ones on the market. Purchased as a gift.
