It has pads on the top and bottom that keep the stool from sliding around and keep the child's feet from sliding off. Although she still doesn't want to use the potty, she loves jumping off of it! And it gives me a comfortable place to sit when I'm giving her a bath.
This little step stool is fantastic, and the price was great! We have a 17 month old granddaughter and purchased 2 stools,1 for each house. The stool is lightweight enough that our granddaughter can carry it to whichever spot in the house she "needs a little extra boost". It is also sturdy enough to hold 200 lbs. My husband used it to change a lightbulb in the ceiling! Great product!! Glad we made the purchase!!
This little stool may be the best $10 I have ever spent. I bought it so that my 3 year old grandson could reach the potty whether to sit down or stand up. It is perfect for that and also allows him to reach the sink and faucet (but not the handles which is perfect). What I did not expect is how much he and his 2 year old brother would LOVE this stool. A wonderful side benefit is that they love to put it in the living room and run in circles stepping up and down playing "big boy, little boy" which I created. They are now both getting a great step aerobics workout every time they come to visit and Nanna and Deda are getting lots of laughs!
I love this kids stool, my little grandson is only 18 mths old and he likes to look out the livingroom window and couldn't reach. Now he just gets his little stool and puts it where he wants it and he is a happy little guy. Its very sturdy and very inexpensive in price but its a purple hippo and the kids love it.
I really like this product and so does my daughter she packs it everywhere and it has increased her independence a lot! She uses it to turn on the tv, the lights, get on the potty, use the sink. Almost immediately after we got it she understood that it is a very useful tool and she runs for it every time something is out of reach. Its very easy to carry with handles and it is light my daughter will be two next month. This product was a big hit!
Most of the little step stools seemed heavy and didn't have room for little hands to get underneath to lift. This one has room to pick it up and carry it wherever she wants to go and is very light but durable. Cute little design
The height is perfect for a 2-3 year old little boy who prefers to stand at the toilet instead of sitting on a potty seat. Easy to step up on and not too high off ground.
This is a nice step stool and very cute too. It is very stable with the grips on the bottom and the top. I thought about getting a wooden stool, but those seem a little slippery on the top. So I'm glad I went with this one. It doesn't quite get my 18 month old to the sink, but we are mainly using it so that she can get onto the potty easier.
I bought this for my almost-two-year-old so that he could wash his hands in the bathroom sink. I thought it would be taller than it is; it's definitely not tall enough for him to reach the sink. It's less than seven inches tall, which really doesn't do much in the "adding height" department...
they say online that the product in inches is 12 inches long, 10 inches wide, and 10 inches tall. But for being tall, its really only seven and i need something atleast 10. This is a waste of money if you need something just a little taller. The manufacturer needs to fix the dimensions or walmart.com needs to fix it.
