After reading the reviews I did not want to purchase this potty but my twin girls saw it online and insisted this was the one they wanted....they refused to go on the baby bjorn I bought them...it hurt their butt since there was no padding....I reluctantly bought this potty online and picked up in the store....My girls were very excited to use it...I thought the potty looked on the small side and because I waited till they were on the older side to potty train thought we might have a problem, but my girls fit perfectly on them.....my girls are 3 years 5 months old and weigh 35 lbs.....the sounds work great on both of them, easy to hear but not too lound..... very easy to clean and no it did not leak at all and gotta love the padding, it doesn't hurt my girls butts when they sit on them. It does come apart easily if it is picked up and dropped but not a big deal and very easy to put back together.
I love this potty chair. It was an incentive to get my daughter to use the potty chair (since it's so adorable). It doesn't leak! And the removeable section is soo awesome!!! It clips right onto the big potty and doesn't slide around (just twist and lift to remove-easy). And the best part is that all you have to do is put the lid down, and it becomes a stool!!!!! Excellent for small bathrooms since I don't have room for potty chair and stool to wash hands. I really like this chair and will be using it again when it's time to train my youngest :) P.S. I had no trouble with the sounds (it's just a chime) but I bought it in store so that may be why...
My daughter loves this potty! Was busy exploring it the day we bought it. It's great because it converts from the 'potty-on-the-floor' stage to the seat on the 'big-person' potty stage. She even carries around the stool with her! We really liked it and had no problems at all. Very pleased!
I was reading all the reviews about how the sound wasnt very load. & that had me worried but I wanted to try it anyways. I have no idea what people are talking about because it's pretty load. & my house is always full of kids & if we can hear it means it great. My daughter also pushes it to the sink so that she can brush her teeth. It has truely made potty training so easy! Make sure you let your child check it out first. Maybe try & show them while you are on the big potty & put her on the little potty. Let a little water run from the sink. Then they will pick up on it really fast! Plus 30 min after they drink something take them straight to the potty chair! Hope this helps someone! :)
I was a little disappointed in the potty chair. It was not the same color as in the picture and the sticker or the princesses was different and wrinkled. The product its self seemed good.
The seat itself is cute, my daughter loves the Disney Princess so i thought this would encourage her to go on the potty. The only thing i don't like about this Seat is that the "magical sounds", you can barely hear it. We bought my son the Elmo potty seat and that was the same price as this one and it was loud enough to hear and said words. My daughter prefers to use the big potty.
I was very disappointed in this product. The princess design is great for little girls and the "flushing" sound is fantastic. However, this product leaks. Also, if your child doesn't always go straight down, it will always come out the front onto the floor because there isn't a splash guard to catch it. I would not buy this potty seat again. The best thing about this product is that it converts into a very steady step stool so that your child can use the big potty seat.
I bought this for my daughter and the first time she used it, I was showing her the handle used to "flush" it, and it fell off in my hand! So after going through a few channels, they let me exchange the potty seat for a new one. When she used the new one, it leaked all over the place and despite putting new batteries in it, you couldn't hear the noises it was supposed to make. SO disappointed in this product and I regret ever purchasing it. What a waste of money!
i regret buying it so much, the back fall apart since day one! and each time i hold it i can hardly keep it one piece! , each part of it easily fall and i kept reassembling it ! i bought another one for half the price and i felt the big difference right away, even my baby wouldnt set on it now and always use the nedw one
I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this product. The first one I ordered did not work. When it arrived the sounds were so low that you could not hear them and then it stopped working all together. I thought that it must be the batteries. Although I only had the potty for one day, I decided to replace the batteries instead of returning it. Unfortunately, replacing the batteries did not help. The potty still did not work and I had to return it. Walmart customer service was excellent and they shipped me a new potty. Imagine how upset I was when the new potty arrived and the sounds were still extremely low! I have not returned this one because I have given up on expecting the sounds to work properly. This item is NOT worth $25.00 and Disney should take their name off this product.
