We are in the process of potty training our 19 month old and couldn't be happier with this potty chair. I love that it plays music when she pees. She gets so excited and starts clapping. She wants to jump up and see! It is great that the seat can be used on a toilet and that the potty chair can be used as a stool. It is strong enough for me to stand on. The only downside is that the potty chair doesn't play music when she poos. So, sometimes she continues sitting even after she has gone because we don't know that she has gone. Overall, it is great. We even bought one for her to use at Grandma's.
I bought this for my granddaughter. She's not ready to be trained yet but now I'm ready whenever she's ready. I like this potty because it's made just for girls and doesn't have the deflector to get in the way. The seat has to be lifted up to remove the potty bucket, which I like because the seat surface is rounded and smooth. The ones that just drop in from the top look like they could pinch her in that tiny space between the edge of the seat and the potty bucket. I had one of those with the other grandkids and didn't like it for that reason. Also, since the seat has to be lifted to get the potty out, she's not as likely to try to take it out herself. The music is pleasant, not too loud. We'll get lots of use out of it as a step stool also.
I bought this for my daughter at 18 1/2 months old. Since 17 months, she has been holding her diaper when wet, saying "uh-oh", so although she is young, I thought it couldn't hurt to get started. This is perfect for her height (she's 33.5" and 25lb.) and she fits perfectly. She hasn't actually "gone" in it yet, but she knows about the music from stuffing it with wet washclothes, toilet paper, etc. :) We've taken the seat off to check for sizing with the "big potty" and it's a perfect fit. The stool makes it possible for her to already wash her own hands, which is quite helpful and less painful for her since she no longer has to be dangled by mommy while I manouver water, baby, and towel. This product is very easy to clean and fiits in a quaint little space. We are really looking forward to getting lots of future use out of this product.
I bought this potty chair/stool for my house for my granddaughter. As soon as her Mom saw it, she wanted to trade me for the one she had bought, which was inferior to the Princess chair. This is a good buy, and it will encourage potty training with the music and pretty colors. The stool is a bonus.
I bought this for my 3 yr old grandaughter and she loves it. Showed her what it does if she goes in it and she was so excited. I think this is going to make potty training much easier for her.
I like that the seat is high enough to support her back. It's cute and easy to assemble. Great value since this can convert to a step stool as well. It would be nice if the seat had a child lock to keep them from taking it apart. Also, if a belt were included to keep her on the seat. Otherwise really cure and plays music to help encourage when potty is used.
This potty gets the job done. It seems sturdy as both a potty and stepstool for our 18 month old daughter, and she loves when it sings after she uses it. I recommend! Quality without a high price tag.
Pros -stands sturdy on the floor -plays music -the bowl is removable so you don't have to wash the whole seat all the time Cons -I wish the bowl and the seat had a clip or smth so that my daughter couldn't use the potty as a Lego toy and remove them all the time -I wish the potty seat didn't have the clips for the big toilet so it wouldn't be so hard to remove it from the toilet -Sometimes when it's cool in the bathroom my daughter doesn't want to seat on it cause it's cold
My daughter really likes the potty. I like everything about this particular potty, but there is one thing that I dislike. I dislike the fact that my daughter would use the potty and no music plays.
My granddaughter is tall, so this potty does not work well for her. Potties should be made height adjustable so that you can accomodate each toddler needs.
