My daughter got an abrasion on her leg when she slid to home plate during a softball game. The skin was ripped off and there was exposed flesh on a large area. After cleaning the wound, I applied neosporin to this nonstick pad and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to remove the next day. The second day, I applied a gauze instead, and it would not come off. It pulled and tugged at the would when we tried to remove it (won't make that mistake again.)
These are great for a skinned knee or large area that needs to be covered. Does not stick to the wound.
J&J Non-Stick Pads are definitely hospital grade. It's what they use in hospitals and is an excellent product for covering open wounds.
