This is an excellent controller and works just as well as the Sony brand. It uses normal AA batteries, instead of a rechargeable battery, so no need to charge it. The only drawback is that it uses a USB port to connect wirelessly to the PS3 instead of Bluetooth. With only 2 USB ports on the PS3, using one for the controller limits my available USB ports to one. If I had to do it over again, I would have gotten a Bluetooth controller instead of the USB. Of course, there are other accessories you can buy to increase the number of USB ports on the PS3, which makes the Con for owning this controller nonexistent. You can't beat the price for a great PS3 controller.
We bought this controller to go along with the one that came with our new PS3. I prefer this controller over the Sony controller that came with the unit. It has a tighter set of controls decreasing some of the wander of the joy sticks and was a lot less expensive then the Sony. To early to vouch for its durability. Only wish it would have come with the first set of batteries. Four stars for that.

I didn't realize this product needed batteries. It's not a bad product, just not what I thought it was.
Brought for my 12 yr. old grandson for Christmas. He plays video games all the time and says that the controller works fine. It may not be the greatest but works ok. It was a last minute gift and was only 20.00, so even if lasts alittle time it is worth what I paid for it.
This remote broke within a couple of months. The L2, then the kids lost the stick, so I was unable to return. Finally found it, looked the warranty up, 120 days. Battery sucker, poor response, bulky. I bought the Sony PS3 remote at the same time, it broke, but it has a 1 year warranty. I returned it to Sony with no problems and it was back at my house in 2 weeks. Saving the $20 really didn't pan out. I used it on batteries. Take my advice: stick with Sony PS3 remotes. Great Service and warranty. MUCH better product.
After waiting 2 months to get it, it started acting up in the first week and now is unusable.
I ordered this but it doesn't work, called the company a couple of times but no response. Will be taking back to Walmart.
Bought this for my son he wanted a wireless controller thought this would be a good alterative to the Sony one. Shouldn't have wasted my money he had it for about 2 weeks and it quit working. We put new batteries in thinking that was the problem but it still don't work. Wont be buying anymore of these controllers.
