I have a 3 year old grandson and he is in that tearing everything up and cutting every piece of paper that he can find. I love that the tip of the scissors is blunt, even though in the package, it looks like it does come to a point, but it is not sharp at all. It even gives you a lifetime warranty. The loops where their fingers go through are bigger so they have more room, we love these scissors and they cut paper very well.

That tells me they must be very comfortable for her! She does projects where she draws, cuts and glues paper several days a week when she gets home from preschool and these have held up well with frequent cutting of construction paper. They are also not too sharp yet not too dull, which is perfect for a 4 year old.

He is six years old and has had trouble in the past when the handles are too small and hard to hold. But these were very easy to hold and he was able to cut things and actually enjoy doing it. I will certainly get a pair of these for each of our grandchildren.

I was more concerned about her safety. I saw Fiskars Blunt-tip Kids Sissors and liked the design. As Fiskars is world renowned for top quality sissors, I got these for my daughter. These Fiskar kid's sissors have a well designed handles that allows my daughter to hold them securely. My daughter stated that she prefers this Friskars sissors to her old pair as it feels more comfortable to her. She also stated that these Fiskar sissors made cut paper more easy for her. The sissors appeared well constructed and well balanced to me. Both my daughter and I prefer and highly recommend these Fiskars kid's sissors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fiskars Blunt Tip Scissors are a must for a home with children. I use scissors in many capacities and my grandkids wanted to help so we decided to get some safe scissors. These have a great large grip which makes it easy to use and control during use. The tip is blunt instead of sharp so that it won't cut your children but will cut their crafts. I even felt safe throwing them in my sewing kit as I don't have to worry about getting cut by the tip. These are sharp enough to cut felt, cloth, paper, cardboard, and everything you can think of that a child would need. I would love to see some customization on colors and maybe cartoons on the blade and handle but they are truly a great product for kids of many ages.

I have always been a fan of Fiskars scissors, both as a teacher as well as a parent. However, these are NOT the same quality as I have always known. The handles are too large for little hands, and it sounds/feels like you are cutting sandpaper even when they are brand new. I am looking for a new brand to recommend!
