Makes great litter for bird cages, no need for newspaper for Tweety anymore. Absorbs odors and can last a week or two depending on how many birds you have. Great for kitty litter too.
A great product that works as well or better than the $10 a bag stuff I was buying at PetSmart. This is a steal in comparison and works equally as well if not better.
Items came just as described. Very happy with cost too!
Have used this brand of corn cob for more than 20 years. It allows for easier cage clean-up as the bird droppings land on the cob as opposed to the cage bottom.
I use this cob bedding in my cockatoo's top playpen. It doesn't fly away like shavings, and is cheaper than rabbit pellets. It absorbs dropping and odors. Easy to use and safe too.
I use for my rabbit's litter box. I tried the Swheat scoop, which is good, but prefer this now. It is a great product at a great price & shipping is fast, as always, at Walmart!
Hartz: Corn Cob Bedding & Litter, 10 L This is a great product and the price is too! Lots better deal than the big Pet Stores have!
I bought this because it was cheap and wasn't expecting much from it. I was pleasantly surprised that it was able to cut the Odors left from the old brand I used. It works just as good, if not better than the more expensive brands. Although it doesn't have the colored paper my birds have come to enjoy that could be found in the more expensive brand, but I can live without that.
We use this as bedding for our guinea pigs (in addition to the paper-based "fluff" that is more common). Absorbs well, and doesn't smell as much as the paper bedding. However, if your pets have sensitive paws, this may not be recommended. Definitely should be used in conjunction with the softer bedding material.
I like this product and have purchased it for years - when did the price sky rocket? I bought this exact product at my local Walmart in April for $4.17 and now not even 4 months later it's over $14! I'll be looking for a replacement.
