We have a 10' x 10' pergola that already has an existing shade that only covered the top of the pergola. We wanted a shade like this that blocked the sun from the east and west. This shade definitely did the job ! I like that it came in two separate pieces. This allows adjusting of length on either side of the pergola. Since this does not come with any tubes for weight purposes, I simply bought conduit, cut it at 48" in length and the conduit does a great job of keeping the shades in place.
