I have been looking at all types of generators for some time. I pick this one because of the price and the watts and electric start. You'll be glad you got the electric start because it's hard pulling on a 11HP motor it's not easy. This is a Honeywell motor I don't know how long it will last. Moves around easy on it's wheels and looks good. If you plan on useing alot of things at once you need more wattage. The wattage adds up fast if you use alot at once it don't take long. The only bad thing about this is the shipping cost because there is no site to store.
This generator is great because I no longer have to pull a rope. Just push a button and you've got power for the whole house when the electricity goes off. Has good looks and quality construction.
Got the generator home and it took about 20 minutes to assemble the wheels and handles. Not much time at all. Once oil was in and fuel, started the unit with just one pull and it started right up. After a few minutes I shut it down and restarted it using the electric starter. It started right up. Very satisfied with the purchase and the performance. Excellent generator and a good price.
I can not say enough about this generator after puttjng the wheels on and handle bars adding oil and gas started up with push of a botton i let it run than shut it off ,i started it again pulling cord started with first pull but honda pulls easer for women,, at 72 im glad i got electric start and women to should get electric start its smaller than my older one and has a lot more power if i need it this generator will produse 6800 watts i love it
Honeywell generators are an excellent product, with varying sizes for varying needs. Thw 5500W is fine for the average home to keep food cold, lights on, T.V. on, and home warm during those pesky winter and spring power outages. The battery-operated electronic starter feature and wheels make this model great for the senior citizen and single mother with its ease of starting and moving around. This is the first actual generator I've owned, as I've always borrowed the neighbors spare generator in an outage, but with that option gone, its nice to have the security of an emergency generator in the Storage Shed.
