I've had this generator for about 2 years now and I haven't had to use it for emergencies yet but I do fire it up every couple months to make sure it's still running. I change the oil once a year if I don't have to use it for a longer period of time. Love that it uses propane, burns nice and clean, don't have to worry about gas going bad or gunking up the carburetor. I hook it up to the 15lb grill propane tanks and have a couple on hand just in case. Highly recommend the propane for low maintenance emergency or portable power.
DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
