The HSM Classic 225.2 Cross-Cut Shredder can shred up to 27 sheets into 387 cross-cut particles per page, emptied into a 31.7 gallon bin. The 225.2 meets the requirements of level 3 security shredders with particle sizes of 1/8" x 11/2", which is ideal for shredding confidential information. And no worries or hassle about removing staples before shredding, as it can tear through staples, paper clips, credit cards, CDs, and even floppy disks with the same speed and efficiency as it shreds paper, all while maintaining a low noise level that's nothing more a whisper. Much like its 125.2 CC counterpart, the 225.2 CC is also of a smaller size but has the advantages of a larger throat width and a bigger motor. This enables easier and more consistent feeding during its Continuous Duty Operation, which simply keeps shredding with more feeds. Its quality performance makes it ideal to used as a centralized office machine in a busy office. Simply insert a stack of paper, staples and all, and step back. The shredder uses an automatic start/stop function with a reversing function, stops when the bin is full or open, and can detect overloading. Users don't have to worry about clogging the machine as the JamStop Anti-Jam Technology prevents jams caused by overloading by automatically stopping.
