I purchased this bag to transport my oversized, desktop replacement laptop and it just barely squeezes in. Also has enough additional room for my MBA courseload. Bag contains two storage pockets plus a sleeve for the laptop. Also contains two net pockets for waterbottles, two side pockets for misc small things, several carabeener loops, a top handle, mesh backing, and waist clips. This large backpack is great for big books or daypacking. $10 cheaper and I'd be crazy about it.
When I was with a previous company, they purchased this backpack for me and needless to say when I left that company I was reluctant to give up this backpack. When I started with a new company they gave me a standard issue briefcase carrier for my laptop and it was difficult to carry. I decided to purchase this backpack with my own money so if I decide to move companies again this one's staying with me! Has ample room for a 17" laptop, and plenty of compartments/pouches for storage. I can even cram a pair of gym shoes and clothes in there for a workout!
