[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon making the decision to upgrade my outlets I got a GE grounding safety outlet with internal shutters to prevent inserting things other than plugs to increase the safety of not only my children but the children in my care. It is easy to install and the electrical plugs fit in snugly so they do not fall out of the outlet. The tamper resistant features makes it a little harder to insert a plug but insures a tighter safer fit.
Great product. Easy to install and works like a charm.

replace my broken plug with this one this one's much more modern it worked nicely
took less than 10 minutes to install. its made really well. the safty feature is great. I'm definitely buying more to update my plugs.

The claims are true we tried sticking forks, knives, & kids toys nothing would go in. I want to replace my whole house with these! Easy to install- I mean if you aren't sure you tube on how. I personally think all houses should have these. I plan on getting more.

The outlet has extra depth where the plugs go, which is great for ensuring the plug stays in tight.
Easy to install and work very well. Used these to upgrade a bunch of old two prong outlets.
Bolt holes should not be an inch wide. The screws slide left and right, making it next to impossible to line up outlet in perfect vertical fashion. Also, wrapping electrical wiring around the screws on the side? Forget it as the easiest part of the whole job (and that goes double for the ground wire).
