[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great to have on hand. I had a candle warmer that frayed toward the plug. I cut the plug off and put this on the end and fixed it easy. Every house should have a pack just incase. I highly recommend it.

All you have to do is inset the wires into the plug and make sure they are put on right and you should be good to go. They are also great to keep a hold of in case you need to fix a lamp or something. I highly recommend them!

Handy Item. Designed for quick repairs on two wire non-polarized cords. I have used these to replace European (two prong, non-polarized) outlets. The no wire strip feature makes it easier and safer than calculating the proper amount of shielding to to cut and twisting the copper strands. Works with #16-#18 AWG cords, usually found on table lamps, small house radios, etc...Simply lay the wire ends in the channels, close the hinged lid and secure with one Phillips screw. This job only takes about five minutes. The simple design ensures there is no chance of shorting out due to exposed wires.

As a family of 5 we have a lot of electronic devices. So anytime we can save time we do it. This product is super simple to use. You just plug it in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is not designed well. I attempted to use it to replace a plug for a small lamp. The plugs apparently have a no strip feature which i quickly discovered i would need to strip the wire anway. I could not get a connection going after carefully trying to adapt the plug to my existing wire. I would have been better off with a larger plug that would allow for me to attach the wires myself.
The wife picked this up when we needed to replace the plug on a cord. This is a terrible design. The "no strip" feature wouldn't work, so I had to strip the tips of the wires and then take special care to separate the bare copper to reduce the chance of them touching. Routing the individual wires into their "channels" took some effort even though the wires were 18 gauge. The strain relief is unimpressive to say the least. The only positive thing I can say is that it's overall size is smaller than a lot of the other choices out there. You'd be better off buying the larger plugs that you have to strip the wires on and screw the contacts together. It will actually take less time and effort to install.
