I had been looking for some kind of lamp to have a bit of light at night time for the kids room as they fall asleep, and this made it soooo easy, you just plug in at any outlet and use the appropriate light bulb (which I used a small warm glow dimming light bulb) and it is perfect without the need of a lamp. I will be getting more of these for other areas in the house :)

With this handy adapter, and a standard light bulb, I was able to add light to a tiny crawl space which I transformed into a reading area. It provides the perfect amount of light, and it doesn't take up any space. I still can't get over how handy and convenient this tiny, foolproof gadget is! I plan on using them all over my house, as they are cost effective and provide the same amount of light as a lamp, without taking up any space. I wish I found these sooner! I put a standard light bulb in a traditional outlet. There's no switches, no features. It connects a bulb to an outlet and nothing more. Which is perfect for my needs.

I found the perfect place when my husband decided to move my overhead light in my work space in the garage. That left me with only outlets no lights. The lamp socket adapter is perfect. I have a light without another cord getting in the way.

And I personaly would not leave it for long periods of time. Could be used beneath cabinets or in pantry closests for more light.

There is a light bulb and this product enabled me to plug directly into the llight bulb outlet. Very convenient for garages,basements or anywhere where an electrical outlet is missing but a light inlet is available. Not much more to add. Works as supposed to and easy to install and use.
