Love, Love, Love this product. Put together quickly, and use it everyday. My husband is 6'4 and I am 5'4 and we both use it and love it. I read other reviews and almost didn't purchase this, but checked other products and decided to go with this one. So glad I did.
This product has met and exceeded my expectations. I have been using this product for two weeks and have already reaped many benefits. I enjoy the easy touch programs and the smooth agility of its components. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends.
This product was a gift which arrived during the noted time frame. All of the parts were in the box. The recipient likes the elliptical for various reasons and is thrilled that it is not noisy. It took roughly five hours to assemble and weighs 200 lbs. For the price and value, this seems to be a good purchase.
I just ordered this product and received it about 2 weeks ago. It is horrible! I would not recommend it to anyone. It is cheap! I guess you really do get what you pay for. I am returning it as the gears squeak already and I have only used it about 5 times! It is noisy and one of the foot pedals wobbles even though I have the bolt screwed on as tight as I can get it with out stripping it. That too makes a lot of noise. It is great for walking if that is all you are going to do on it. The faster I go the more is rocks...I cannot run on it at all, it rocks too bad and I am afraid that it is going to tip over while I am running. I thought it would be sturdier than some of the other ones out there because of the size of the base, WRONG! The dash looks extremely cheap. I work out in the morning before work waking up at 4am. The only things that are lit on the dash are the button headings, not the buttons themselves so it's really hard for me to see in the dim light in my living room, I do not know what I am pushing. The games are not worth it...again the button you use for the games are cheap and it's hard to focus your eyes on the games while you are moving. And there is no fan! I would recommend getting one that has a built in fan. I have not had a chance to use the ipod port to see how the speakers work. The 18" stride is not as long as I thought it would be, I am 5'9" and I do not feel like I am getting as a good a work out as I would with a 20" stride...if you can get a longer stride. This one also has no incline, the resistance is OK, could be better. Overall I am very disappointed and am in the process of returning my order. It only took me about 45 mins to put together so that was not bad at all. I would recommend Costco, I was able to try one out in their store and it is soooo much better than this one (different brand though). Overall bad product and a waste of my time...
I bought the I series in February of 2011. The original console didn't work correctly, would just go fuzzy and "short out". Customer service was very nice about sending a new one which worked properly. The second one broke due to too much force on the handle. I decided I wouldn't try to replace it since the computer still worked and the machine itself was fine. More recently, the machine started clunking on the left side when I was using it. Finally the clunking has turned into constant grinding. It is no longer functional. This is June 27, 2011 (four and a half months after purchase). I can't recommend it.
To big bulky and built out of cheep cheesy parts, Pro Form products have problems with there consoles not working from out of the box. But i must say that the Company warranties its product if you don't mind the hassle of all the waiting for parts and repairs, If you want to know an honest time for Unpacking and assembly it takes one person two hours, Two people one hour and a half, I should know i do assembly's and repairs on fitness equipment on all make and models, (see my ad Wal Mart classifieds) So if you want to hang your clothes on something then this is it.
