This elliptical is a great addition to anyone's home gym! It is easily assembled by following the directions. It is sturdy! It has an excellent space saving design that allows for the user to easily fold up after use to prevent children from playing on the equipment and save space all at the same time! I love this elliptical. I love the Bluetooth functionality! "I received this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion."
Came quick, however assembly wasn't so easy.
This is a good entry-level machine. I like the convenience of doing a workout at home, and with this I have no excuse to miss a day. Operates smoothly. Assembly takes 1-2 hours with provided tools (allen wrenches included), and is amateur-friendly. It's pretty easy to fold up and move around. It would be nice if the display were lighted, but I otherwise have no complaints.
I'm a runner and I've been looking for a way to cross train. When the opportunity came to get this elliptical, the ProForm 450 LE Elliptical, I was pretty happy to give it a try. I've had it for 2 weeks, and I'm new to ellipticals, so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I'll share my experience so far. 1- the box and assembly process. I drive a van, I also drive around with a few kids in that van most of the time. I was impressed at how compact the box this came in was- I had moved the seats of the van around so that I had a very long area available for what I figured would be a pretty big box. I didn't need it. The box was 3 feet wide, 2 ½ feet tall and 1 ½ feet deep. I end up putting the seats back in their normal configuration and just putting one of the back seats down. It was heavy- definitely need two strong adults to move that box. Assembly, there are a few steps during the assembly process that require two people. For the most part assembly was pretty straightforward and easy. I worried that I was doing it wrong- but the final product works! Two things that worried me were that the Pulley Screws mentioned in step 5 of the assembly instructions were on the wrong side and the right side arm covers were REALLY hard to get on- because the soft foam on the arm extended down a little farther on that side. It took about 2 hours to get it all put together. This is the first piece of exercise equipment I've actually assembled- I have a treadmill and a recumbent bike which both entered my life completely put together. I'm pretty sure I didn't fail! 2- Using my Elliptical, it took awhile for me to figure out how to get it level so that the front wouldn't sway while I used it. There is also a pretty loud squeak that kind of comes and goes depending on my posture and speed….the squeak tells me if I'm doing it wrong. I had to do a little googling- luckily there is a wiki-how of “how to use an elliptical” and as silly as I felt that I was searching for that information- I'm glad I found it because I learned that I need to keep my heel down, which I wasn't doing. There is a tablet holder which is PERFECT for my kindle, being able to watch videos keeps me from going crazy on exercise equipment. I'm getting a very good workout on this machine. Sweat is good. When I'm standing correctly I can tell that I really am working my legs, arms and core. There are several programed workouts, and there is the option of using i-fit workouts. 3- Space- This is a space saver, it folds up. I told you the box was heavy, but the machine is quite easy to move, fold and unfold. I'm very happy to have this machine. I received this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
Not pleased with this proform, I had one years ago that's why I bought this one. The electronic display does not work, it squeaks
module does not work and am having trouble get help I guess I wil have to return the elilptical
