These are the brightest solar lights I've ever seen. Solar lights are often dim, but these are so bright I had to back them up from what I was trying to illuminate. The setup was easy, and the solar panel can be set up anywhere, so the panel can be in a sunny spot while the lights are in the shade, or even hidden under a bush. That way, the focus is on the beautiful lighting, not on the light fixtures themselves. These are spotlights (you get 3 spotlights and the solar panel in the box). Each is bright enough to light a front door, a garden sculpture, or a favorite flowerbed.
These lights are priced right and work great!! They last all through the night (about 8-9 hours), are bright enough to light up 2 trees and a large ornamental rock, and were very easy to set up. The everlasting LED lights are also a great bonus because they never need to be replaced (especially if you have ever owned landscaping lights with replacable bulbs)
I would highly recommend these lights. They illuminate our home at night with no problems. No issues with the rain or watering of flowers affecting them. I just wish there were more included. You can't got wrong with Malibu Product (also known as Brightscapes).
Bought this product one year ago and they are still going strong. I have them around my porch area. One light shines on my porch steps (placed 1 foot away), one is mounted on a porch post shining down on my house address numbers, and one is mounted on the ceiling of my porch shining straight down. They work great and I will purchase from this manufacturer again.
We bought these to accent a palm tree in our backyard, where hooking up an electric connection would be difficult. It works beautifully and I'm now heading back to buy some more for another tree.
The solar light is bright and you can place it anywheree. I am planning to place the light close to the stair so it can serve as emergency light in case of brown out.
You cant beat the value on this light set with such a low price. They will cost nothing to opperate, although you will eventually have to replace the batteries in a few years. You will have to keep in mind that these are solar floodlights and cant come close to the light output of conventional ones. They will not light up a huge areas but are great for accenting small areas.
I'll be honest; I was skeptical. Because these are plastic and inexpensive, I was expecting much. I have to say though, the light they provide is so bright and so steady. The light lasts all night, even when the sun hasn't been out. I am extremely pleased.
This Product is not What I Expected At All. I Lite Up Two Bushes And My Front Arch. The Cord Went Alot Farther Than Expected. I Have Only Found 1 Problem So Far, They Are Just A Little Dim. Wish They Where Brighter, But Thats Solar Energy You Cant Beat It.
I purchased this light set to illuminate a brand new fountain in my yard. At dusk the lights shine very bright, however after a few hours you can barely tell they they are on. The lights were not bright enough or on long enough for what I wanted. I actually returned them for electric ones that would consistently perform. We do alot of entertaining in our backyard during the summer so it was important for these lights to work properly. The were exposed to full sunlight most of the day, but I guess that wasn't enough. It was a good product, however it just didn't serve my purpose...
