We had our GE Microwave, basically the same model, for 12 years. I did not now how much I used it until I did not have it. The new one was installed today and works well. GE kept the size the same so that it fit well above our stove and between our cabinets. It is basically the same as the one we had. The drivers and installers were very polite and personable and knew what they were doing. They were only in our house for about 10 minutes. Using my new microwave while making dinner for tonight. Love it.

Love this microwave! The installation was so simple with easy to read and detailed instructions... It has great features as well as the perfect size! I got this for my Mama for Christmas.. This is the first over the range microwave my Mama has and she LOVES everything about it!!!

Within a year the plastic metal looking covering they put on the handle started coming off. The ventilation for over the range sucks and left a huge grease stain on my ceiling despite changing out the filter.
Another disappointed customer as we have all GE Profile appliances in a new home. Having same problems as customer who posted below. Are control board failed 2 years to date we got it. It also started making a popping/sparking sound and the digital display flickers this is also warranty period, so now we need to replace this whole unit. We had GE Profile dryer less than a year had luckily got a warranty claim on it 1 month before the warranty went out. Been a loyal GE fan since the 70s but these profile models leave something to be desired. :(
Works great for 16 months and then the mother board crashes.. a counter top microwave lasted me way longer then this
