This coat serves its purpose. It very cozy and warm. All you need is a sweater and thats it. Now would it be good in Alaska, I'm not sure. But for basic running around in the city @ 30' degree weather, it serves well.
I love my coat it is so warm and fits great.
This is a very nice coat for the money, however it does run a little small so if you are a 1x I would buy a 2x ...it fits just a little snug. I like a lot of room. Other than that it is a very nice coat. I would buy it again. Hope this helps
I bought this coat for my daughter and she likes it. It has kept her warm on those very cold days here in NYC. The fit was perfect for her too.
THIS COAT, LOOKS GOOD, FOR THE PRICE, IT LOOKS LIKE IT COSTS MORE THAN WHAT I PAID, MY WIFE LOVES IT.

Decent coat. Keeps me warm when the temp drops to single digits. Quality is good for the price and brand. I have one complaint...the zipper keeps catching on the material when zipping and un-zipping...a little annoying. Other than that, I really like the coat.
This coat is pretty basic, but is exactly what I was looking for. The faux fur trim on the hood is wonderfully soft to the touch, and the longer length makes the coat warmer during the nastier weather. A great value especially for the price.
I love this coat. However, I am large across the top and have big byceps. I throw freight for Walmart for a living. Despite reading another review, and ordering this coat two sizes larger than I normally wear it is still tight across the top.
This jacket is very nice,but was very small. The jacket must have been too sizes smaller than what I ordered.
