I purchased this jacket at a Walmart Store in the beginning of December 2010. I purchased a 3X size. I had been looking at the jacket online for 2 months trying to decide if I needed another jacket. However the price of the jacket was so affordable. When the jacket was sold out online that's when I went to the store. The jacket is great! It's very stylish and I love the jacket! I live in NJ and it's been cold. This jacket keeps me so warm. Plus, it's easy to move around it. I feel so bundled up and warm inside this jacket. It looks like a ski jacket and looks like it costs way more than the price it's sold for. Jacket was being sold for $35. A definite buy!!!!
Instead of spending the $100+ on the Columbia puffer style coat that I wanted..I decided to check out what Walmart had to offer. I tried this on and was very pleasantly suprised at how well it fit. I purchased in a size 18/20. The gathering in the middle is slimming. I like how it zips up on the inside and snaps on the outside. The pockets snap also. The hood is detatchable also if you don't like the fur but I love it, it's super cute. Kept me warm in the 20 degree weather we had. Overall, I'm very pleased and can't beat that price. Can't speak to the quality yet as I've only owned it for a week...hope it's good.
I originally ordered this jacket in black, but it became backordered so I ordered another color. The jacket looks warm in the photo, but like one of the other reviewers said "it was thin". We have had a few blustery days in Detroit, so luckily i have a fleece zip up to go under it and that works. I bought it a size bigger so i can layer in the winter. Even with the fleece jacket i have, its still a little big. Thats tells me it is true to size. I couldve ordered my regular size, but its ok. The hood is pretty, but is useless on windy days because it just blows off your head. Overall, the coat is good for car drivers since they are not really exposed too long to the elements, but if you have to ride the bus like me or have outdoor activities...where fleece under it or buy a warmer coat.
