Key Features and Benefits: Nikon's flagship Speedlight for enthusiasts and professionals Engineered for FX and DX-format D-SLRs and COOLPIX P7000 Series cameras, the SB-910 offers unparalleled lighting performance in the field and in the studio. Featuring Nikon's versatile i-TTL (intelligent through-the-lens) metering for on camera or wireless flash control, the SB-910 can operate as a hot shoe mounted Speedlight, remote unit or wireless commander. And with refined operability including illuminated buttons for use in low light and improved thermal cut out protection, the SB-910 is the perfect partner to your D-SLR. Unparalleled lighting performance The SB-910 Speedlight operates as a hot shoe mounted Speedlight, remote unit or wireless commander capable of controlling as many as three remote groups (A, B and C). With a host of pro flash features including; precision i-TTL flash control, manual with power ratio, three illumination patterns for specific shooting environments, wide zoom range from 17-200 mm, and streamlined controls and menus - it's no wonder that Nikon is the overwhelming choice when it comes to flash photography. Real world simplicity with advanced automation At the heart of the SB-910 is Nikon's i-TTL flash control which enables Nikon Speedlights to share critical exposure information with CLS compatible D-SLRs. All of the complex lighting calculations are computed for you instantly with consistently accurate results in just about any lighting situation. Additionally, the group can contain any number of Speedlights and any mix of these Speedlights. SB-910 can also be set as a Remote Speedlight for complete system integration and control. Versatile flash for enthusiasts and professionals SB-910 offers an improved interface, adding a dedicated menu button and illuminated buttons for control in low light. Additionally, hard type color correction filters are now used, providing durability and convenience when used with a camera set for auto white balance. And when taking pictures in certain situations such as in rapid sequence, to prevent the flash tube from overheating, an improved thermal cut out protection has been adopted that slows recycling instead of cutting off the flash.

Pros: Great quality, Easy to use, multiple options Cons: Little Pricey But Worth Other thoughts: Works great with Nikon D7000
Pros: Best flash I have used Cons: none Other thoughts: Of the three flashes I have recently used with my Nikon D 200, the Nikon SB 910 out performs them by far. I use the SB 910 at sporting events where I need a powerful flash and the 910 works wonders. Thank you for your prompt and friendly service.
A bit on the expensive side but I can say these speed lights are worth the money. If you are serious about photography, you are making a mistake if you don't buy this flash. Amazing quality and impressive recycling speed at full power. Detailed menu is a little much but not necessary if you use TTL. You will not be disappointed with this flash ( maybe a little lighter in the pocket) but definitely a must have in your camera bag.
Pros: Cons: none Other thoughts: This is a very versatile flash accessory to fill flash, bounce flash, and use your creative capabilities. Performs very well, good range. Would buy another.
I currently own SB600, SB700 and now the SB910, Fantastic flash, I have used it in commander mode in bright sunlight to control my SB600 approximately 25 ft away without any problems, I have even placed my SB600 outside a window in bright sunlight facing the window and had no problem controlling it from indoors with the SB910,
If you're looking for something to just flash, this may be out of your price range. But if you looking for a way to be creative with your lighting, this unit will allow you to do all kinds of things using the Nikon creative lighting system.
