Just returned from my week long adventure in the Flat Tops Wilderness chasing after some Rocky Mountain Elk. This pack had more than enough pouches/space to hold everything I needed and then some i.e. game bags, calls, camelback water pouch, wipes, extra clothes, etc.
I got this pack about a month ago for the 2015 whitetail season in Georgia. This pack is perfect for day hunts. The front storage compartment is wonderful when it's hanging in the tree. I was amazed how much space I had ex. Bow hanger, buck bomb, doe belt, grunt call, range finder, gloves and face mask, as well as my Thermacell. All that went in the front pocket with room to spare. The main compartment will be used for my NY hunt. The pocket on the back for a water source holds my camel pack great. The pocket in the main compartment hold extra batteries, compass, headlamp and handheld flash light. Now that just the pockets! I still have room for extra cloths (socks, lightweight jacket). When wearing the pack it feels great. I have zero negatives about this pack. It's not meant to pack out an elk or whitetail but will definitely hold everything you need in order to get the job done. Badlands outdid themselves with the tree stand!
I am using a crossbow for the first time, and the quiver pocket on the side of the pack is very convenient. It holds the quiver upright and out of the way rather than the horizontal way my quiver attaches. The numerous pockets inside are great for organizing.
What a great pack!! I had originally thought about buying the Pursuit due to the price. I decided to splurge a little and throw down the extra $$ for the Treestand because it made sense and the reviews were excellent. I'm glad I did!! This pack has all kinds of compartments to store whatever you may need in the stand! I REALLY like the zip down stand organizer and pouch to store my quiver. Super stoked to run it through the paces in 2016!!
This pack is perfect for tree stand. Super quiet, great storage compartments and is bigger than expected. I can fit most of my winter gear inside and has straps on outside to carry extra stuff. I use it quite often and even during Turkey hunts from my blind to carry all my calls and decoys.
After alot of debate and looking at different packs, i decided on the Treestand. Most of my hunting is whitetail from a treestand...... This pack is absolutely perfect! Plenty of inside pockets that zipper closed........the shelf design is way better than I expected.......when the pack is hanging on the tree, i will have easy quiet access using the shelf! Perfect design!
I've been usung this pack for 4 years best pack I've ever used everything right at your fingertips !!
Upon arrival I noticed how sturdy and well built this pack was from the heavy eyelets to the heavyduty zippers. I am impressed with the construction and can not wait until November to get this pack into the woods and in a tree for whitetail season. Gave a 4 just because I have yet to use the pack. Very well built sturdy pack, I gave it 4 stars since the backpack webpage says it can also hold a bow, come to find out after it is delivered that you need to buy an additional piece to hold a bow and as it turns out that isn't in stock. I probably would have bought a different brand all together had I known that as that was a very important feature I needed to have right now. All in all great bag, but I suggest asking them questions to get specifics prior to purchasing, just so you know what may or may not be included.
I like the service of this company and the quality of the pack. However as a buyer for a NBS member I must say I have never seen my sales rep until this past week at the NBS market and he only lives an hr and a half away. But as far as shipping I was shocked that I ordered the pack late on a Wednesday night and receieved it on Friday. The pack looks durable, and has a ton of room. Im looking forward to this fall and putting the pack to work
