I haven't used this but I had one before for my son and I loved it. It does keep the cold air out and keeps baby nice and warm.
I was pleasantly surprised by the construction of this baby item. So many times baby products are flimsy, I supposed because the mind set is that Baby will grow out of it before it becomes raggy-taggy. This carseat cover has a sturdy metal zipper, and the fabric is thicker than I expected. We are supposed to be getting some snow later this week; let's see how well it does keeping her warm and dry.

I love this perfect for cold weather
Love the design, almost. The zipper feature is awesome, but there isn't a way to keep it over baby's face when outside. So kinda defeats the purpose. And it isn't very thick. In winter weather you need to cover baby up with a blanket anyway. Again, defeats the purpose.
