so far my phone is great. service is great, the switching over of my number was simple online. love it all. only kinda not so great thing is the keyboard when texting sometimes misses what i push. maybe i just try to go too fast or dont press it hard enough tho. otherwise.perfect.
This is an excellent smartphone if you like this type of fones form factor, and have good eyes. I bought it for my daughter, who loves it, and it does the work of your typical smart phone, The net is fast, does an excellent job with photo and video and has a ton of features most would find useful, etc, etc,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, There's the other fone, the open face//upright model, which would be suffice for older users who want a decently priced smart phone, with a great carrier,, These newer Nokia's with the relative service provisions are excellent...........
I am a wireless associate from walmart and i want to give a heads up. This Phone runs off of ATT and and some T-mobile towers if you are in a large Verizon area dont buy it you will have problems with signal. In a ATT area it is awesome.
I love this phone. Its easy to use and has all the features i need. I also love the straight talk service. I have not dropped one call and the value is great! I definitely recommend the phone and straight talk.
This phone works great and was fairly easy to port the number. It took about 5 hours to port. Word of advise is to call ST if your number does NOT port in 15 minutes. I called and they gave me a time the number would be ported in. It was not ported so I called in and they did it while I waited about 5 minutes. Phones work great and how do you beat the $45.00 per month for 3.5G UNLIMITED service????
I wanted an upgrade from my old phone so I bought this one. The only drawbacks are there is no keypad on the front so you have to slide the phone open to dial a number. The other thing is that to delete text messages, you have to delete them one at a time. For me this is irritating. For some people they might not care. Other than that I really like this phone.
When first buying this product it was told to me by Straight Talk that this was a touch screen phone. Once I got home I realized that it wasn't. I was upset about that. Now that I have had the phone for a while I have grown to like it. It moves slow as when I am trying to open up my messages or contacts, but the internet service is fast.
An enjoyable phone! I wanted a better phone than what was offered in the store, so got it through "site to store". It arrived within a week... One thing you should do before purchasing, is to check out if the phone will work in other towns around you by typing in their zip codes. Some towns in my county have reception and others do not. Do not just go by Straight Talk's question of "where will you use this phone most". Where there is reception, it is a great phone.
I have had my phone since Oct '11 and I am strongly disappointed. I knew that it was not a touch screen, I'm used to not having one. But this phone is just so awkward. If you need to call a number that requires you to push 1 for English or anything else of the such, then you have to have the keyboard slid out. The volume on the phone is definitely lacking. Even when I had the phone on loud speaker I still had to have the ear piece pressed firmly against my ear. Also it might just be my phone but it randomly turns off. I'm lucky if I can get a text when someone sends it. I don't like that if I want to see when someone sends it I have to manually pull it up, every other phone I've owned has automatically listed the received time. Sadly I have very little good to say about the phone. The last thing that has me the most upset is that I have to actually call the 1800 # to reload my phone, there is no option on the phone to do so as there has been on other prepaids, as there is also no option on my account for straight talk. As soon as I can I will be finding another phone and probably another phone company.
I bought this after checking to see if it would work in my area. Typed in my zip and it said it would, however when I recieved this phone and tried to activate it, I was told that it WILL NOT work in my area. Wasted 2 hours on the phone only to be told I had to take it back where I bought it.
