I bought this combo cellphone package a couple of weeks ago, and I am very satisfied with it. I paid $45.00 and received the phone and 1 month unlimited service from Straight Talk. It was like getting the phone for free.

I actually loved this phone, except i had to get rid of it, because it did not allow me to use the call waiting feature! If you are on a call and another call comes in, you can switch over to answer, but cannot switch back to tell the original caller that you will call them back. You have to wait until the second call hangs up before it allows the first call to resume! That is unbearable in this day and age! No call waiting? Who does that? I have switched to the lg420, hoping that the newer model would be better, but this one gives you the conference option, when you attempt to do a three way, but when you select conference option is says three way not available! You cant win for losing! Oh and one more important fact: this phone here w/o the call waiting, does not take a sim card, so it runs on the verizon network, which has no call dropping and an awesome network (they did a study on this as seen on the news this week to confirm my suspicions). Great to know, but this lg 420, that doesnt conference, does have a sim card and runs on att/tmobile network (which the study also mentioned were the worse service providers)! Hopes my experience helps you.

For a free phone on a great Straight Talk $30 a month plan, it is a fine little phone. Definitely not a smartphone, but I knew that going in. If someone is looking for a cheap but quality phone with not too many frills, get this with the ST's $30 plan and personally, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Good phone, good coverage, horrible customer servi

The phone was as advertised, the coverage is very good. However, customer service is as bad as it gets. It took three calls and four days to get the the service established and all the questions answered. I finally made a total of four calls. Of the four customer service reps, only one seemed to have at least a clue to the job. Two of last customer service reps that I spoke with promised to add back a day of the service that I had paid for but lost due to trying to establish service. I gave up on that and just marked it up as, "you get what you pay for."
