I don't know why Walmart.com doesn't show this item in their regular menu but let me be one of the first to say this phone is FANTASTIC for what it is... a mid-level entry "Android" phone... and the free shipping to home took only 3 days... If you plan on buying this phone (VERY IMPORTANT) make sure you have good coverage with Spint's pre-paid 3G network... I happen be live in a place with very good coverage... If you don't, you will be very disappointed... and when connected to my home Wi-Fi, this thing flies... For the price, this is a home run (hands-down) !!! Sorry for the pic quality, they were taken on my old phone.....
This phone exceeded my expectations. It is so easy to use and I love all the FREE apps I am able to get. I loved it so much I bought my husband one !!! There was only one complaint from him about it, and that was the battery life, other than that, he loves it as much as I do.
I love this phone - I'm so happy I decided to buy this one. I really wanted an LG, in my opinion based on my experience they are the best. This phone has superior voice quality on both ends, all the features I wanted in an Adroid including a full QWERTY keyboard as well as a virtual keyboard and is a sturdy, well-made, durable device. I couldn't ask for more, especially for the money. I highly recommend this phone.
Money saver!! Unlimited text, unlimited talk and UNLIMITED DATA! All for only $48 (tax included). The unlimited data doesn't cut you off at 2 gigs or slow you down. We have been streaming Pandora and even Netflix without any worries of going over our data usage! If you had this same plan with Apple's Iphone as a new customer, you would be paying well over $100!! The Android operating system has thousands of free Apps and plenty more if your willing to pay a little. Our area doesn't even have a strong Sprint service but it runs just fine. Plus it has WIFI capabilities. Even after streaming Pandora for several hours and daily phone usage, the battery only drained a couple of notches at the end of the day. This has been a super money saver for us! I'm thinking of getting another one so we don't have to share it anymore!!
This Straight Talk phone runs on the Sprint network. The Walmart and Straight Talk websites said it was not available at my zipcode in Valdosta GA but it was available in Tallahassee FL. I had the phone shipped to my house in GA but had to drive an hour to FL set it up because it would not let me active it here. The phone works great here in Valdosta (connects at 3G with 6 bars) and it was well worth the hour drive to activate it! This phone has the latest droid software and has awesome features that let you stream movies through netflix as well as many more. My girlfriend likes this phone so much that she is cancelling her contract with Verizon and switching to this phone too. I'm sure it won't be long before people catch on to the fact that this phone will work anywhere that Sprint has coverage. Help me spread the word!
We have had many different phones from many manufacturers. All the LG products have been excellent including this one. Some real surprise features, notably the speech recognition feature for all applications, especially for texting. This phone has a smaller keyboard than my prior ones, but now I speak to text and it is amazingly accurate
First, I've had Android phones before. This one is actually a pretty sweet deal. For $180 and only $45 a month for unlimited EVERYTHING, you really can't beat that. One thing I would like to stress is make sure you are close enough to the Sprint towers. THIS PHONE DOES INDEED RUN OFF SPRINT TOWERS. I checked my coverage for Friendswood (where I live) and League City (where I work) and the website said I should have OK coverage (which I actually do). I'm actually more of a texter than a caller (which is why I wanted the phone with the keyboard) but I haven't experienced any dropped calls or anything. One thing that I was kind of annoyed with was the 3G speeds. In certain spots, it's reeeaaalllyy slow, or just doesn't go at all. Connect to wifi if able, it's way faster. But, of course, that is the company's fault, not the phone. Other than that, this phone really is neat. I really love it. It's lightweight, slim, and the battery life is decent, though I'd download a battery saver from the Android market to increase it's life. It runs Angry Birds flawlessly, Netflix, the keyboard is very comfortable and it blacks out the screen while on the phone so you don't start hitting keys with your face (my old Android didn't have that feature). The colors are vibrant, it gives you 5 home screens, and the speakerphone sounds loud and clear. Personalized ringtones are very loud and just overall it is a good, sturdy phone. (And I say sturdy because I have dropped it several times on accident and it still runs like a champ).
I bought this phone after looking at the reviews and making sure that sprint would work in my area. I am very pleased with it. It met all the expectations that I had. I knew it wasn't an iphone so I didn't expect it to be one. Some people have commented on how hot it gets and it does. I've found if I leave it open while it's charging then it doesn't get that hot. If I'm going to be on it for a while then I leave it open and it seems to stay cool.
I love LG phones so I really expected more out of this. I have had it 4 months and it's been nothing but problems, it won't stay charged, the screen presses buttons by itself. and it's slow. I am going to try another brand.
I have been using this phone for about 9 months. The battery life is horrible. It only lasts for about 3 hours if I'm not constantly on it, so I have to take my charger everywhere I go if I want to use my phone. I liked this phone from the start, except the HORRIBLE reception it got EVERYWHERE I went. The camera is horrible. If they were going to make the camera so bad they should've at least added a flash to the phone. After using the phone for about 3 months, the charger that came with it stopped working for my phone. It worked for everyone elses phone that had the same charging slot as mine. Ever since December started I have had more & more trouble with that stupid phone. It won't charge without shutting off every 2 minutes, except if I keep music on while its charging. It freezes up about 3 or 4 times each day, so I have to take the battery cover off and take the battery out. I have had to download a texting app, because the one that came on the phone stopped working. It drops calls like crazy now. And I don't receive a text back from anyone until about an hour after they sent it. I don't get voicemails until around 24hours after someone leaves one. I am very unhappy with this phone, and I've decided to get rid of this one, and buy a new DIFFERENT one. I wouldn't give this phone to my worst enemy, that's how bad it is. Don't buy this phone.
