This phone is a great buy. I am still greatly impressed by the amount of data that I have on my phone and it still has not yet to slow down in speed. This Window 8 phone allows me to retrieve files off my computer at home from my phone. I can access my xbox from my phone. My husband who has a Iphone says that my phone is much better than his when it comes to accessing his home computer from his phone. I high recommend this phone.
Very pleased with the phone. Still learning how to use some of the features. It is not clear how to delete unwanted items. However, this phone is a big upgrade over my previous phone.
Although the Windows phone doesn't have as many apps yet as Android and iPhone, it's (hopefully) a growing market. It has the most common ones such as Angry Birds, but I'd advise you to check out the app store first if there is a specific one you simply can't live without. I took a chance on this phone and am glad I did. I like the operating system - it's smooth and customizable. It's very attractive and I like the fact you can add a memory card. Installation is not the best since the card slot is next to the battery but it's not a big problem. I have downloaded my own music, photos, and vids and it works with everything so far. It's easy to change lock screens, wallpaper, and ringtones.
Although I have only had it for about 2 weeks, I am still learning about all the things it can do I Love It. So far I have been able to add my email contacts and my important phone numbers. But there are so many more things it is capable of. I have to read some more but I am extremely happy with this phone. Also the price was very affordable.
I have a co-worker who has a windows phone and loves his so when I saw that straight talk also has the window phone I thought I would give it a go. It has plenty of room for apps and gadgets all on the face and another place to keep the apps that you maybe wouldn't use daily but would still like easy access to. My husband wanted to know if I thought he would like one as well. He did purchase one too and is having as much fun with his as I am mine. The screen is large enough to view pictures with out having to zoom in just to see them. I can finally take notes to myself and have them always with me. I listen to music a lot on mine too and think the sound is great. Good selection of free games and apps. I haven't used it yet, but we have Net Flix on these as well. I was asked how I liked my phone and I said it was like being able to take my computer with me in a small package. I am very happy with this phone.
I haven't had any problems with the windows phone, I have had it about 2 weeks. This is the first windows phone I have ever had and so far enjoying it very much except it doesn't get all the apps I want that I could get with an android. Hopefully they will get them soon.
Smart choice. Smart plan. Smart phone. If you are not a Straight Talk consumer then smarten up. Get this phone and the $45 a month unlimited plan and tell your contract service company that you've "smartened" up. We have been Straight Talk consumers now for several years with never an issue. When I hear what other people pay for their phones and contract plans I just cringe at the thought. Note that for some reason this phone does not include an SD Micro card. Had to purchase and install for about $25.00. Other than that this phone and plan are amazing.
The good. This phone has1.2GHZ Dual Core Processor4 GB internal memory, if you want to store alot of music videos and photo i recommend a getting a microSD card. A 32GB microSD card is the largest this phone can support. Camera's rear facing cam is a 5 megapixel camera and video recorder LED flash front facing camera is a VGA 0.3 megapixel camera and video recorder 4'' IPS LCD touchscreen made of Gorilla Glass (high scratch resistance) The best thing about this phone it uses AT&T network in my area. (most of straight talks smart phones use Sprint's network and their coverage is terrible.) Easy to set up just follow the steps on the screen or open manual. If you have a Xbox 360 get the smart glass app to use this phone with your Xbox 360 The Bad As of right now the Apps in Windows Phone store are lacking One last thing Also you can take the sim card out of this phone and put it into any at&t smart phone change the apn settings on the phone to straight talks and your golden. I was very disappointed in this phone. I didn't get a chance to use this because the Huawei phone was delivered with the wrong size battery twice. I gave up in trying to get this phone . I even called the manufacture to inform them that the battery was wrong. The manufacture was unable to send the correct battery stated they didn't sale parts for the phone
The Short: This phone will not delete many files including temporary internet files, making it eventually full of storage and only temporarily resolved through a factory reset. The Long: This phone comes with windows 8. Windows 8 has an issue where you can't delete files sorted as "Other". This can be many things, including temporary internet files and items downloaded through apps. Windows has an update for this phone, which fixes this issue, but this is of no use to Straight Talk users. Straight Talk does not allow phones to be updated, blocking any ability for you to go from windows 8 to 8.1. This means that you will eventually run out of storage space thanks to your "Other" section. The only temporary solution is to reset the phone, which just starts you all over again with the eventual full storage and no hope of an update to permanently fix the issue. Avoid purchasing this phone, or any phone through Straight Talk that starts with windows 8, and you will be happier for it.
