I purchase my iphone after waiting for a year to get because of the price. After waiting seeing the price reduce just a little I decided to purchase. It is what I expected....quality...it does what I need and more. My son has an ipad it is similar to it in function. I mainly uses it for workout purposes. The set up was easy and the customer service is to be expected. Overall I can't complain.
I got this iPhone for my uncle, who was previously trying out Boost. We live in an area with poor Sprint coverage (so bad that Wal-Mart sells all major carriers except Sprint phones). This iPhone runs on Verizon's towers and has been working great so far (5+ weeks). If there is any negative, it is the data speed, which is related more to Straight Talk than the iPhone. I recently compared the speeds (with Ookla's free SpeedTest app) of my uncle's iPhone 4 on StraightTalk with another relative's iPhone 4S on Verizon. I expected they would be about the same given the use the same towers. However, the Verizon iPhone 4S had almost twice the download & upload speeds. I'm not sure if this is just an isolated case or if all prepaid services are given a lower data priority on Verizon. I plan on testing it out with an Android phone on Straight Talk in the coming months. Back to the main subject, the refurbished iPhone 4 is/was a great deal (dropped to $245 when iPhone 5S came out). Definitely recommend it to others (if still available).
I was looking for a replacement for my Android phone and stumbled on this bargain. It is a refurbished phone but I could not really tell when I received the phone other than it came in a plain paper box and did not have any paperwork with it. It does work a bit different than an Android phone, and you do have to use Itunes to really make it work well. The only frustration I found with it is that it does not bluetooth with my Android phone but in researching that problem I found that it is an "Apple" thing - that is Apple designs it not to bluetooth with other products. I simply created a different gmail account, uploaded all my contacts from my old Android and downloaded them to the Iphone. The phone is heavier than an Android. The keyboard is much easier to type on than my Android and I find that I have to do less correcting of my texts. I like the feature where it changes back from the symbol page to the alphabit once you hit the period. Bottom line is if you need a replacement phone or an upgrade snap one of these up before they are gone.
I've been using Straight Talk for over 3 years with a basic flip-phone and finally decided to upgrade to a smart phone. Phone service has been perfect, even with a recent trip into the country, I never lost service. Download speeds are on-par with my friends that have Verizon 4G iphones. I had no problems transferring service from my old phone to the iphone, all while keeping the same number, etc. The iphone itself was a great value and arrived in immaculate condition. All accessories as well as the outside of the phone were all brand new. I guess the only "refurbished" parts are the inside electronics of the phone. Overall, I feel that this was a great value and I know that if I have any problems I can return it to my local Walmart store. I've recommended this deal to several friends that are in the market for iphones.
I was resistant to the whole smart phone thing, but shopped around the web, landing at Wal Mart, which I should have gone to to begin with. I knew I couldn't afford the iPhone 5, and I was afraid the 4 might be obsolete, the way tech is these days - here today, old hat tomorrow. But the 4 is perfect. I also worried a little spending that much on a "refirb," but honestly, it's just like new! I love it. But I STILL refuse to talk OR text while driving. I hope you do too.
this refurbished i phone 4 looks and operates just like a brand new i phone but this one comes with a 1 year limited warranty unlike a brand new one with only a 90 day warranty and has all acc with it.and a months phone service too... get em before they are gone...u cant buy a used phone for this price.
This refurbished iphone works really good! No problems and easy to set up. I used my old phone number and everything. Service is great. I used to have verizon which is known to have the best service but this straight talk with these iphones are rocking.. My verizon service didn't pick up well in my local mall so I expected the same from straight talk service, other than the mall, the service is great. I am very pleased and will recommended it to anyone.
I was worried about ordering, my only complaint is that my right speaker sound is stronger then my left speaker. My I phone was easy to activate. I did it over the web and transferred my number from trackphone, it took about a 1\2 hour to do. Phone came with ear buds ,wall charger and 30 day unlimited phone card. I am very happy with my I phone.
We have only had this for a week but so far so good. The phone does not come in a typical Apple Iphone box guess because it's refurbished. Looks brand new. Set up was easy as with all Apple products. The cost should be half the price because it is just a 8GB Iphone 4 with no frills and because it is refurbished. It did include an unlimited 1 month of airtime card which is required to run an Iphone or any other "smart" phone. Would also recommend the insurance plan and a good Lifeproof or Ottor box case.
Helpful staff in the electronics dept. and a great Straight Talk plan to go along with the refurbished iphone 4. Its as good as new, and I got to keep my phone number from another carrier too.
