This is the best offer! I bought a phone at my local walmart it cost me $88 bucks after tax, with $30 card with the purchase, I checked online and found this, saved 50 bucks! The phone that i received was like new out of the box works great!

Great For Those Who Want Simple Phone

Great phone for those wanting just a simple phone. The ringer volume just not as loud as I would like it to be, but I have a hearing problem. This is a solid well built phone and I would recommend this phone to everyone.

You get a great basic phone and a months plan all together almost for the price of the minutes.

Phone is very solidly built and operates on Verizon network which was a huge surprise. Speaker does sound a bit tinny. It is a basic phone -- don't expect fantastic menus or any apps. But it does what it is meant to do - make calls. Many ringtones/sounds included for different rings and they seem to be of decent/good quality. Would definitely recommend and the $30 air card made this phone cost only$9.

Sturdy flip phone. Good state to state coverage. Easy to use, small buttons, small screen flip phone. Meets the needs of someone who just needs/wants a simple cell phone they can use to stay connected. Uses local area code, decent sound and loud ringer options. It advertises unlimited internet, and it is accessible, though nearly impossible to navigate with very small screen and text/typing features (little buttons); that is expected with this model. Takes decent photos and videos when up close. Any zoom causes graininess; sending and receiving pictures is no problem with the unlimited data, though again, they are small. The phone does allow one to email the photos to others or text pics. THE CALL PLAN: The $45/ month is a better bargain because it allows for unlimited talk, text and (that, less than easy browsing, internet option). The cards are available at the store or you can use a debit or cc on the phone to re-load each month. We noticed there is an auto-fill feature as well for the forgetful. My mom doesn't want to have to keep track of the 1000 minutes per month offered from the cheaper plan, though it came in handy to start; the phone is similar to models on Wal Mart's shelves that cost close to the same price, so the $30 card included w/ purchase, was like a 'bonus' I wouldn't have gotten in the store.

The flip phone is good for someone my that wont check e-mail or text. I do not need the apps available for Smart Phones. I wanted something that is good for calling and getting called period. There are no bells and whistles on it and that's fine. It works well and the reception has been good.

Pretty good phone for the money. All functions work well, but the speaker is terrible. I have to make sure there is absolutely no other background noise, or I can't hear at all. Just sounds like static and the other person is in a tunnel or underground. Except for the speaker part (which I guess is the risk that comes with getting a refurbished phone), everything else works like it should.

Unfortunately the local walmart assistant manager and I took this phone out of the box and could not get it activated, we tried for about 40 minutes. I ended up returning the phone and buying a different one. Delivery was prompt and the phone is good quality, but this particular phone just wouldn't work.

I thought I'd take a chance on this because I like Samsung and this uses the Verizon network. First mistake I made after activating it was trying to download a ringtone. Download failed and my $2.99 was gone. Website says you can download that purchased ringtone 10 times in 72 hours. No you can't. Only button in MYStuff takes you back to the credit card page. Anyways after 2 hours with support it was something simple like you have to call someone first before your browser will work. Don't make the same mistake as me. Activate, then call someone before any ringtone purchases. I'm still out the money because no one there has a clue with that part of the service. Main problem is my charger won't work. Tried my old charger from my last Samsung and it worked until today. Now it won't charge so I know it's in the phone. No sense in returning because they won't pay for the card. I'll just buy another or reactivate my smartphone. I hate paying for it because all I do is make a few calls. Also my top (lid) wiggles side wards like it's loose. They did a poor job reconditioning this one. I had good luck with two others. Does anyone make a good flip phone that uses Verizon?

A Big Mistake!

I bought my reconditioned phone through walmart and had no troubles at all so I thought I would purchase one for my husband. This is a terrible phone. We have done everything possible to turn up the volume and it's still not working. The volume for everything else is loud, but you cant hear through the ear piece. Plus the straight talk web site was down so we had to call the customer service number. Turns out the first person we talked to had not set up the phone correctly on straight talks end. Had to wait until the third day of having the phone to finally reach a live person at straight talk who finally set it up correctly. So, so disappointed!! Going into town tomorrow and demanding either a replacement phone or different style of phone all together. Do not purchase this phone. It is a big mistake! Very disappointed and very surprised since it's a Samsung.
