My wife and I are spending a month in the U.S. and the cost of using our UK phones is ridiculous (2 dollars a minute to make calls). Bought two refurbished MotoE phones for $19.95 each and added a one month $45 plan. Phones work great, have enough memory to install some of the apps I use at home ( BBC news, Whatsapp,Facebook etc). Using Skype I can phone international at low cost. Camera is pretty good and the pictures I've uploaded have been fine. Would recommend this phone to anyone who wants wants an alternative to a contract phone and wants to keep costs down. The only downside was the payment system didn't like my UK credit card (no zip code in the billing address) so would suggest anyone from outside the US uses PayPal if ordering online.
I purchased this phone for my 80 year old father to use. He was using a flip phone prior to this and I wanted something that would be somewhat basic for him to start out on. He actually was able to pick up on how to use this phone fairly quick. It is a nice little phone for the price. The price is what drew me in to begin with. It is somewhat small but still big enough that you can see videos ok and browse online. The sound quality is very good and the phone is fast enough to download apps in seconds. The camera is just ok. It leaves something to be desired. If you don't stand perfectly still and don't breath while taking the photo then it will look blurry. Overall, given the great price I'd buy it again! I personally have my cell phone through a major carrier and I can honestly say that for what I paid for mine and the monthly bill...I'd seriously look into getting straight talk and buying a phone through them as well. Talk about a huge price difference and the call quality is that same as what my major service provider is providing.
This is my second smartphone. I purchased a different model a couple months ago and was very disappointed - so I returned it, got my money back and came to Walmart and got this phone. What I love: This phone sports Android 4.4 KitKat - a larger processor than many of the others I have seen and is FAST with web browsing. It comes loaded with Google Apps - mine even had an FM Radio App loaded. The camera and video work beautifully with clear images and audio. What I miss: This does not have a front facing camera - only a rear facing one. This does not come with a Micro SD card - you will have to buy one separately. This only comes with the recharging adapter that plugs into the wall - you will have to purchase a USB one separately. I am super delighted with this phone. The accessories that have to be bought separately can often times be found up by check-out for a more reasonable cost ($3.50 and up).
I bouth this one as a backup, it was so cheap and I have built up so many minutes with the the lifetime double minutes I wanted to be sure to have one to transfer them too, if I break or loose my main one. It's great, photos, the web, with the voice function on google I can just ask a question and it will answer me. Terrific, especially for the price.... Will
I got this to use as a mini tablet via wifi only. It is on the small side, I hoped it would have been just a little larger. It's got a nice screen. Pictures are decent. It's only 2 cores and not super fast, but it is plenty for going onto social media and messaging at the same time. I cant complain as it does everything i wanted it to be able to do. In fact, the quad core tablet that died on me prior was not as fast. This picks up the wifi signal very well which is a plus when I am on the 3rd floor while the router is on the first floor. For $20 I am incredibly impressed! It puts my now non-functioning quad core tablet to shame! Considering I break these things as I'm a clumsy oaf, I'll be purchasing a few more to last me the year. (yes, I am THAT clumsy!! LOL)
This phone was what I had bought when my favorite one had gotten on its last life. I needed it for a backup until my replacement came in.. and I honestly have to say for a $20 phone it actually in some ways are like and even better than my $200 one! It has a really good sized screen and the graphics are great actually. The only 2 things that are drawbacks about this phone are that 1. It doesn't have a front facing camera to take selfies and all that nice fun stuff and 2. The phone itself didn't have very much internal storage so if you want to have a decent amount of pics and stuff you'll absolutely have to buy a sd memory card to give you the storage that you would need. All in all this really is a great little phone and the price is freaking awesome you literally can't top that. So if you need a good functioning backup phone or something on the cheap side for a kid or the elderly without sacrificing the quality then go get this. I am really happy with it and im actually going to be buying a couple more to have on standby. Awesome purchase 5+ stars
Great phone for the price, my straight talk plan included unlimited data (up to 5g drops to 2g with lots of use) so upgraded to smart phone, 5 to 15 minutes to switch number over and activate, shipped to store to save shipping, well packaged. Not as good as a Iphone, but does everything I want..
Nice looking phone. Better camera then my old one. Haven't figured it all out yet. So far not happy about being able to put my old ringtones on this new phone. Hope I can get that done because I want to be able to update not go backwards.
Real good older phone, 3G only, no camera flash, but great smart phone for the price of $19.99. Uses Verizon network and works great on "Puppy Wireless" cell phone service who offers several inexpensive cell phone plans starting at $10/month.
It works great, really nice phone for the price.
