just need some ointment for infection protection and Spark review gave me an opportunity to try this Neosporin. I just applied it to some skin problems and it dried it up in a few days.. After reading the protection ideas from the package label, I see there are more ideas about use that I hadn't considered. Anyone needing infection protection, will be pleased to use it, it really works.....
Growing up you had 2 choices of antibiotics for cuts and scrapes. The first was the miracle red stuff that was applied with a glass dauber. The second was the white bottle that give you a spritz on your cut. Both items required your mom to hang on to your hand while you tried to run the mile in 15 seconds and made you come up with the wildest dance moves. Now comes along a creme which when applied didn't cause any jumping or dancing. Once applied you received maximum germ relief and 24 hours of antibiotic protection. After a quick bandage and you were good to go. That and your cut healed quicker that using those other two, I would guess that Neosporin is the future of antibiotic treatment of cuts and minor scrapes.
I have used Neosporin for many years and it is still one of the best ointments for many injuries, burns cuts scrapes and is also very good on minor cold sores, dry cracked lips and I have also used it for dry spots on different areas on my skin. I highly recommend you keep this product around, I always keep a tube in my purse.
Neosporin is something I've had on hand at all times. It works effectively and quickly to help heal minor injuries that occur throughout the year. I've tried other ointments over the years but they don't come close to the quality of Neosporin. Also seems to diminish scarring whenever I use it on scratches and cuts. This is my tried and true remedy for my families little mishaps! Now it's available in a 24-hour infection protection ointment! It's a no-sting, effective germ kill formula. This particular ointment also has HeliDerm technology which provides a nourishing environment for skin. (see pics of packaging for more detailed information). I can most definitely recommend this product. I keep it in my medicine cabinet and in my purse.
Neosporin is the main product in my first aid kit for cuts and scrapes. I clean the area, put a little Neosporin on it, and cover with a bandage. Usually, in a couple of days, it is completely healed. I am prone to scarring from the smallest cut or scrape, but I find using the Neosporin I have very little, if any, scarring.
Neosporin original ointment has got to be the best cure for any burns or minor cuts. I sometimes burn my hand taking out pan from the oven. I would use A&D it took so long to get relief. Cutting vegetables I sometime cut myself and again I would use A&D. This worked but it was a slow lingering pain! With the Neosporin all you need is a pinch on either burn or cut. I felt relief fast with a cut. I put on a bandaid over the cut with the Neosporin which heals very quickly. As for the burn on my hand it was instant relief again and it quickly healed with out that scaring that usually happens when you burn yourself. All you need is a drop it last a long time!

I've been using this product for years. Always helps wounds heal quicker and leaves less of a scar. The only thing I don't like is the oily consistency. It can be hard to put a bandaid on sometimes if you use too much neosporin. The oily consistency spreads on your skin and prevents bandages from sticking properly.
I paid for 3 neosporin, recieved 3 boxes with one box torn open. I need these for medical, my son had the tips of 2 off his fingers cut off and were using these for the healing process. obviously, someone thought they needed more than me. very very very upset. that someone from the company putting the box together stole it. Literally it was torn open a.d empty then placed in my box with my other purchased items. I have never had this happen before in my years of shopping with walmart. however Im not sure if i want to trust this side of shipping items to house again. it was an item i had to have.. not wanted to have. I will pray for that person...
