I really like this table. the drawer was kind of tricky to put together... and it had a decent ding, but it is towards the back. the box was pretty beat up when it arrived, so I was just happy the glass wasn't broken. and adjusting the height by myself is a bit of back and forth, but worth it. it comfortably fits my poster board. I wanted a giant lightbox but this is even better, and by far cheaper. I find it to be nice and sturdy but not too heavy to move around. I am extremely happy with this table. I probably wouldn't recommend using the shelf as a foot rest as it only holds 15 lbs.
I bought the l-shaped desk with the blue glass made by this same company years ago and love that desk. I needed something to put printers on and was thrilled to find this that matched my existing desk. It was easy to set up (although the "step 1" is one diagram that has 11 parts and a bunch of screws - but it is easy enough to figure out.) The only thing that is a little susceptible to damage is the drawer. It came with two dents in it and I was able to straighten out one, but that didn't stop me from being happy with the desk.
After reading the reviews I was concerned about installation. Box delivered 3 days before schedule (Thank You). With patients I found most of the assembly to be a breeze. The one item that is unclear is the drawer slides. First separate the inner from outer race, attach the inner race to the drawer (which in my case arrived a bit dented, and I had to pond it back in to shape), then attach the outer race to the frame, and once complete slide the drawer in to place. That is no in the instructions, and would be helpful. In my case one of the two rubber bumpers that are preassembled to the top frame is missing. will call manufacturer tomorrow, see if they'll be kind and send me one
Assembling this unit I was worried about the overall integrity of the unit, however, once the unit was fully assembled it seems to be rigid enough. this is one of if not the cheapest basic draft table I could find. to me and for what I need it for that's fine as it doesn't get used full time. If you need a full time table or something that you're really going to lean on then I wouldn't recommend this as I don't know it will last as long as others. Pros: - Clean Design - Adjustable Height - Simple assemble, (A 2nd pair of hands were helpful at a couple of moments) Cons: - Not the most rigid/long lasting of tables - Bottom shelf warns not to exceed 15lbs, so may not be able to rest your feet (or anything) on it if you're sitting at it. - Comes with Allen keys and small wrenches but you need your own phillips #2, which is fine for most people, just a pain when your not expecting it. - Bottom ledge is very small, holds maybe a few sheets of paper that lay flat, but not a set of worn prints. (Could replace the ledge with a piece of metal/wood from home-depot. I used large binder clips on the left side.) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
